I think you need a VST to work with that but I assume you figured this out since it was 4 years ago?

ya, all good now. Thanks! sending midi to daw and into a drum vst EZ drummer.

@@JBauerProject I started with the test version from reaper then switched to Mulab7 and I have used the MTPOWER Drumkit VST from the beginning. But it was a lot of trial and error. At first had a small notebook which didn't have enough RAM then got a PC but had to watch a lot of videos to get it all to work!!👍😀

based on what saw...... to put it as a simply as possible. all your drum is sending to reason is midi. it is simply a controller not an instrument. the midi notes in the sequencer must correspond to an instrument within the rack. next step would be to have the midi notes activate pads in a kong ,or an instrument module like id8 instrument module.
