This video is the 100h maintenance for my F115 Yamaha. I ran out of battery so I could not video the oil change but I did video the oil suction out process. I did a few maintenance on the trailer as well. Watch for my next video on changing tilt and trim seals. Thanks for watching.

when changing the gear oil i always make sure i can open the top screw because if it stuck you can not fill the gear box back up once drained.

Hello, I have a 2023 F115LB, and a kicker motor, F6C. The kicker is fed by a 6 gallon portable Yamaha tank with the stock connector. In the case I run out of fuel for the main engine, is there a way to use the hose and connector for the kicker for the main engine?

Hey David, I just went on boats.net and I put in all my motor information and bought just what I needed. I did buy the oil and filter kit on Amazon once I found out what I needed. Amazon was a little cheaper and free shipping cuz I got prime. The prop is a stainless steel prop , the previous owner put on but works just fine , I can send you a picture of the name of you would like. Thanks for watching. Glad to help

Does the O ring need to be lubed with a little oil--and does the gas in line filter need to be primed?

No i did not lube it , nor prime the filter. I just left the gas that was in there and put it back in. Hope this helps.

To bad you didn't show the change of the impeller that you showed in the entro. I'm sure a lot of people would like to know how the replace it.

When you checked the contents of the separator, shouldn’t you have looked in the bottom, where the water would be? The first half that you pour out is going to be clean gasoline because gasoline is lighter. It will be on the top. Not until you get to the bottom of the canister will you find the water.

Yes , you are correct but I poured all the contents of the filter into the glass container just to check it. I baby my engine a lot. I use sea foam every other fuel up and just when I have extra cans laying around, I know my fuel is pretty clean, just wanted to show how to check it by pouring the contents of the fuel filter in a container so someone can see if they have fuel issues. @@SWFLFISH I appreciate the effort. But it seems that it would be better to show them the proper way. In the video you show pouring out half the canister into a small glass bowl. You need a large jar at least as big as the container. By watching your video an uninformed person might not look at the bottom of the separator that’s the only reason I brought it up. I can see you take good care of your engine.

Yea I should have shown where I poured the whole contents in a bigger glass jar , now you gave me a good idea for my next video. I will be recording one when I change it out this season, thanks for the feed back. Keep a look out for the new video. 👍
