Had same issue on my Fazer 1000, "Meta Alarm" wired into ignition / fuel pump / kill switch .... Alarms are a nightmare when they fail as all loom is black wiring & 6 -8 wires are paired up to install & labelled as pairs, hence u break into a circuit & route it thru alarm loom, obviously labelling is removed after installation, better to just have a hidden ignition "cut switch" easy to put back to factory if it fails... Good logic using Haynes manual, most people are scared of electrics, it's fairly straight forward if you apply basic logic ... Well done on the vid Dean

Can I. Still start my 2015 FZ6R without gauge cluster I picked up the bike recently it was stolen recovered I picked it up for a decent price. Missing a lot of parts but it we're supposed to run the motors in great condition I've been buying parts for it every week I just installed a new ignition switch but I still have not got gauge cluster because it's ridiculously priced is it still possible two started without the gauge cluster I'm pretty sure there's a way to jump it
Hello Unsure about your particular bike, but the CBR 954 had no ignition without the gauges. Remember having to figure that out and once into the loom all was good. Good luck with the build 👍 If you start building on RU-vid let me know, will be very interested in seeing it come together.

i wish this was the same for the FZ1R a customer has brought his track bike to me with no spark or fuel pump working, it's running an emulator to bypass the immobiliser key reader system the emulator is brand new came as a plug and play unit by just removing the reader plug and plugging emulator in, but we still have no spark or fuel pump it will turn over and shows no key light on dash when turned on also showing HI temp on dash gauge, i have also now tried another second hand wiring harness with the ecu that came with the loom that came from a running bike and we still have no spark or fuel pump activating i can make fuel pump work by bridging the large 13 wire relay box to make fuel pump work so pump is good i have 12v power to all coil sticks and 5v at injectors tried another tip sensor in working order. this thing has got me stumped and dealer ships don't want to get involved due to race bike. got any idea's it dose have a few black/blue wires should there be 12v in them or are they an earthing wire. any help would appreciated or any one else reading this. cheers it's an Australian model about a 2009 fz1R im starting to think it's a faulty emulator possibly.
Sorry mate, this is out of my league, I guess you have tried googling / forum info to see if others have had same issues ? Forums are a great "family" source of help from like minded folk and often of much collective experience. Hope you can get to the bottom of this and find your answer. Been there on other bikes with other issues, and know it just eats away at you, had another issue once with CBR 954, had to junk throttle bodies, and get others, started 1st time, but had wasted so much time trying to find the answer.
