Moto-Mann, When you add the stage 1 riva kit to the GP1800 have everyone start off the race rolling in neutral then once you take off on the GP1800 trim one notch up from neutral. That will give you your best top speed. I have a modded 2016 VXR and when I race for top speed I put my trim one notch above neutral. I had to GPS it to find that out. Neutral I run 66 mph, one above neutral I hit 68mph. 👌
I thought there are 70mph governors on these machines ordered by the Coast Guard? Isn’t this test just seeing whose governor is least accurate at limiting the top speed at 70? I mean my 12 year old RXP-X 255 tops out at a GPS verified 70 mph today, just as it did 12 years ago.
I like how the Yamaha fans are hating the sea Doo because it beat the shit out of the yamaha 😂, they say "pit the Riva kit" OF COURSE THE YAMAHA WILL WIN IF ITS MODED 😂
From what I've read on Forums and here on RU-vid, there appears to be a much higher concentration of Haters within the Yamaha community than other Brands? Randy AKA randog311 (All PWC Brands have their Pro's and Con's and I admit that even within the Sea Doo Community there are Haters of iS from people who have never even been on one?)
I’ve rode all three of these many times and the Seadoo just rides better and gives more confidence on the water. The Yamaha is fast but lacks the handling I suppose
The RTX is by far the best in rough water. The GP is light and unstable. The rxp is nice but the handle bars are low and it’s hard to stand up thru the chop. RXT for the win in my opinion
Don't mean anything if the seados r tuned and upgraded and gp1800 is stock. Once u mess with shit u open up for for stuff to start going wrong. I have yet to see a seadoo bone stock keep up with a yamaha that is bone stock. Also right out the gate the yamaha blows the seados out the water, even though they modded lol ill take yamaha anyday over seadoo, and they better priced too.
They also handle like shit and the quality is trash. I personally enjoy the Seadoo for bigger water like we normally ride. The gp dosent like the larger chop and seems to be a rougher ride
@@bertofly9050 hell cat red eye demon ??? or rari 488 pista ?? cause that rari is winning that race if its not a demon, the gp is a race ski with a few simple mods, id rather have a slower ski that does 3-5 mph less then spend like 10k each month from preventing it from icing because of that carbon lining in seafood the gp would walk away from any seadoo stage one
think if it sinks in the ocean in the midst of sharks, in 2021 I buy a jet ski I am watching a lot of videos but the carbon problem of sea-doo scares me little, I like sea-doo RXP-X 300 a lot, but I live in Newport Beach, I run in the ocean, I think I buy a gp1800 or Fx Limited SVXO. Excuse my english, i am deaf, i have cochlear implant.
@@maurob5519 you should buy a gp1800 SVHO 2021 if you can get your hands on one they only made a select amount they run about 14-15,500 us dollars, if not yes get the FX, but if your looking to really race and get into corners then gogp1800 however they are both fats with a limited top speed of around 60 MPH, but the difference is the hull design and how it bites the water to really dg into durns, but if uyour not racing and you just wanna have some fun, the FX is a great choice!! I hope you found my little info helpful!! good luck , have fun!!! (:
