Great job Tommy, I see and hear about so many issues related to no anti-sieze on spark plugs! In cars it’s not really necessary but on these skis used in salt it’s a must! Good tip on greasing those boots as well- and advising viewers on the correct plugs and oil!

Slick tip to retrieve that plug outta there! Tidy cables keep you running longer thats a fact. This was full of helpful tips for those with a sled like yours. Well done! Is 100 hours the rec. service interval with these? If they give you those plugs again, just pick up the supercharger to go with them. Darcey seems like a reasonable lady and would surely understand. 😂😂😂

Thanks Marc! 100 hrs is just one if the recommended intervals. This is my 4th oil change and 1st for the spark plugs. If I come home with another ski before I get a boat, Darcey will divorce me, lol!

@@tommytsadventures LOL I hear ya! With the RPM range of your machine, oil changes ain’t something to skimp on. Something so satisfying about that first run after fresh oil and plugs. Is oil extractor the only way to drain oil? I was thinking there might be a flexible rubber hose installed at the engine oil drain hole that you could route out the drain plug of the hull itself…I’ve seen that on I/O boats anyway

@@fishing4dinner Extractor is the only way to drain the oil. There are no drain holes, at least as far as I know. No big deal though, the extractor works fine.

How much oil did she take in the end?

It took all 4 quarts. Let it set for a while and checked twice . It was at the correct level.

What’s the difference between the VX cruiser and the GP 1800 non supercharged ?

The hull design is different than the GP. Different engine models are available depending on year and version. The base VX Cruiser has the 3 cylinder TR-1 engine. The VX Cruiser HO has the same 1.8L engine as the GP but the new model VX Cruiser HO will have the 1.9L 4 cylinder engine.

GP1800 non supercharger has trim control, lighter hull, better intake grate and ride plate.
