Hey, I have a quick question. So I plugged M-Audio sustain pedals to the Sustain port on Montage 8. But it works in the opposite direction. I even turn the keyboard off, while holding down the pedal then turn on the Keyboard still not fixed. Please any ideas how to make this work the right way. Please help

Vibrato is a subtle wavering of pitch up and down to add effect to a note, and it has nothing to do with FM synthesis. The guy talking about FM synthesis being a fundamental pitch, and then talking about vibrato is going to confuse people and make them less knowledgeable. Any note can have vibrato, even on an analog synthesizer. What FM synthesis is, is the fundamental pitch, which he got that part right, but with an audio frequency speed LFO modulating it. I think he meant to say modulation, not vibrato. If you put an LFO on a square wave to adjust it's pitch it just sounds like a vibrato initially, but as the LFO gets faster and faster, and starts getting up into audio range above 60hz, it changes to our ears and we instead hear one complex sound that doesn't vary in pitch anymore. FM is just a series of these carriers and modulators connected to each other in different algorithms.
