Yes I say the word "torque" a lot in this video...it's because it's got a damn shed load of it!
Been wanting to ride this bike for years, really interesting taking it out after the street triple. Loads of power, but a bit unstable :/ The short wheel base and soft suspension really lets it down, but then again for the price you can't complain.
Think more street hooligan, rather than race ready street machine! Still epic either way!

Got the same bike, standard exhaust. Couldn’t agree more, it’s wild a-f but you can have fun within speed limits thanks to the torque.

MT09 or ZX6R? Which one do you prefer ? I have 2018 MT09 . I am thinking about switching to supersport.

Both have pros and cons, if it was out of this MT09 then definitely the Ninja, if it was between the newer MT09 and the Ninja, a slightly harder decision 🤔

Yeahh it's still an overall top bike. Suspension a bit soft, but from going around town, loads of power and really comfortable.

2016 MT07 or 2014 MT09, which one I should buy? Your opinion please 🙏

Hmm I would honestly go off what sound you prefer more. The MT07 is a twin, more of that grunt and rumble. The MT09 is a triple, super smooth and sounds superbikey (if that makes sense 😅)

You know what I didn't actually, not sure why. I did want to try it out in a mode, because although I felt it was trying to lift the front wheel, I didn't find it crazy sending it into a wheelie like everyone mentions. Must be a lot more tame in standard 🤔

Mine has the Akra titanium system and spits flames with the baffle out but I leave it in because it is way too loud without it.

Yeahh can get quite loud. I used to ride with ear plugs anyway just because of the wind noise, so could tolerate a slightly louder exhaust 👍🏼

I am going to buy a sp 2020 soon! Those are way better. But yea its not a race bike more hooligan bike what i love!

HI guys, can anyone recommend me this bike? I own a MT07 2019 (female, beginner) and i would like to upgrade. My bike sounds like a vacuum cleaner...... ;(

Honestly I would get a full akra on, k&n air filter, and keep the MT07. Unless it's the newer MT09 SP you're looking at. This age MT09 needs a bit of work on the suspension, it's too bouncy, not grounded enough. Front end too light as soon as you open the throttle, but I guess it depends on what riding style you're going for 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@DanTheTwoWheeler thank you so much for your advice. I was really looking at the MT 09 built in 2014. They have a real wild looking (modyfied) one at the bike-shop and it´s only 6700,-€. I instatntly feell in love with this bike. But now I am sure I am not experienced enough to handle this crazy thing (yet). I better stick with my bike for another year ot two, because it´s really so much fun and easy to drive and I will check, if I can get another exhaust. Thank you!!!

Love the vid. Have to say mate, you’re keeping me going at the moment! Waiting...and waiting...and waiting to do my A license. Got my first 600 in the garage all fresh and just begging to be ridden. It’s driving me insane waiting for tests to resume but watching your videos and seeing you have fun helps a little (although to be fair it also makes me want to be out on mine all the more 🤣👍🏼)
