both amazing but very different riding styles! test ride them both if you can but the MT is sooooo much faster than the 660 in short bursts. The torque is so good!
The RS stands no chance when the corners get really tight. The MT is meant for slow corners and fast acceleration (MT = master of torque). As you said the RS needs higher rpm which means she needs faster corners to stay in her power range. These corners in the video are straights to me (I live near the alps 😂). No RS can catch up a MT-09 on the twisties here in my environment. But still I looove the RS so much. But I‘ll take both in form of the Yamaha R9 next year. CP3 engine in a R6 chassis ❤️ That’s literally the best of both worlds for me :)
In capable hands and on any twisty road the RS will blow the MT out, only in a straight line is the MT quicker. The MT has some of the worst suspension ever for twisties. R9 indeed if they get it out.... will be incredible. I love the MT engine but hate the upright dirt bike seating and bad suspension. Even the SP sucks lol
when you press brakes on aprilia, , bike dives nose down to the floor! suspension well too soft for this bike and for such brakes! i had feeling that i ride a moped ...so unstable and softy after my K7 600cc granny gixer ( 3 times cheaper, but more comfortable and faster and stable...) big disappointment over aprilia
Well the mt09 is way faster , way more torq and topend power. But the thing is , I owned a mt09 2014 model and I sold it For buying a tuono 660 . The rs660 has way more fun riding , better gas reaction and I just love the sound that comes out of the airbox . For me is the 660 the better one . Think you must drive both to feel witch one please you the most
@@stimpyman007 I also had a 2014 mt09 and I found it too twitchy and horrible suspension so you couldn't use it to it's full potential. Are you worried about reliability from the Aprilia? I've heard of some issues from them. I've never owned a European bike because I've always been worried about it not being reliable like a Japanese bike.
