Actually you are correct. Those are screws. Hex head capscrews to be exact.

I got a Yamaha mechanic coming to my boat tomorrow I got a Yamaha 200 it’ll run fine and then all of a sudden starts going slow. I’ve been having problems with it for weeks. He thinks it might be overheating sensor so that’s why I’m watching your video.

Are you supposed to use sealant with the paper thermostat housing gasket?

Hi good morning have you ever hooked up a laptop to your 200 hpdi, for diagnostic tests? If so can you please tell me where the hookup port is located? Thanks

There is all kinds of harness connectors where the engine rigging enters the engine. Check them and there will be a 3 conductor wire with a gray plug and cap on it. There is a piece of small line on it. That is the YDS connector. There is only one connector that fits the data cable.

Hi good morning thanks for responding, I have the same Yamaha 200 hpdi where exactly is the YSD located on your engine ? Next to the VST or on the other side? I have searched and can’t seem to find it. Thanks

@@edwardburrowes4243 hello. It should be by the starboard side where all the rigging goes into the engine. It is a plug.
