Demo song from the Yamaha PortaSound PSS-140 keyboard recorded direct with no additional effects. In demo mode this song will repeat endlessly without any breaks or pauses.
The PSS-140 is a late 1980's home keyboard with pre-programmed sounds based on 2-operator FM synthesis. It has 100 different instrument sounds and 10 different rhythms plus a set of 5 drum pads.

Oh yes... I sometimes still humm the tune. I am 44 now, and when I was 12 I was the lucky owner of a PSS140. I remember the sound GURGLE haha (wasn't that 33?) Great keyboard.

I'll always remember his tune and this keyboard! Amazing that they were able to demo every sound and rhythm settle in one song and have it be catchy and instantly memorable.

Isn’t this a well-known song? It reminds me of some other song, at least. Sometimes they have huge hits as demos, and sometimes (I believe) they have songs solely written for these keyboards.
