The tail light should have been lower on the rear rack as sometimes you will have a bag or even a coat and it could cover the light, it surprises me the Yamaha did not think about this! But overall seems to be a good bike I'm waiting for them to come out with a more powerful battery so to take it on long road trips.
Many thoughts positive and negative. Why can I buy a regular cheap bike with simple things like a chain guard? High end ebikes are equipped with them. This simply tells me to look deeper into the specs on the bike.
This is an interesting point... Most "cyclists" would never ride a bike with a chainguard on it, but a commuter might be wearing pants. I will bring this issue up with Yamaha today. Thank you. Otherwise, you will find it to be a fine quality bike. If you would like to order a Yamaha from our company, I will source and include a chainguard for you at no cost.
Just purchased one of these, nice bike but definitely needs a couple of upgrades and watch out the frame size runs small and the rear light is in a easy location for breaking. You'll need a stemi riser, the handlebars are low. Also a good saddle would be of benefit and consider a suspension seat post.
