Bro I’m about to pick one up soon on offer up I’ve did a lot of looking for a good Yamaha piano and I finally decided to go with this one hopefully it’s awesome
I found one in the trash. Needed a USB socket replaced so I did that. I found a 12 volt USB supply that fit and... I was blown away by the kind of capabilities it has. Frankly I expected nothing other than a MIDI over USB controller. But this thing has 32 voices of polyphony, over 500 instruments, drum kits, fairly deep envelope control, awesome FX, and even modern accompaniment like EDM beats and capacity for making internal track recordings... I own a number of full fledged hardware synths, and sure, this isn't a full fledged synth, but it's a decent mid-level semi-synth if it could be described this way. For a 2011 keyboard - I it was very impressive albeit very bulky.
My buttons on this keyboard stopped working. Do you have any idea what could be the problem? I don't mean the piano keys, I mean the buttons like: choosing program button, confirm button, metronome on/off button, etc...
i'm looking at this keyboard to buy. between that and the ez-220 and the ypg235. Does this one work well with garageband? ... Which one is the best for a beginner who wants to arrange songs in garage band?
why do keyboard demos never spend longer than 5 seconds on the grand piano settings and concentrate all the time on the cheesy crappy sounding synths? dont mean to be mean but in the future more time on the quality of the piano please, seen as thats what alot of people are buying it for.
I can't believe how many useless videos are up on youtube for this keyboard just showing us how it looks. So I want to thank you for giving us a demonstration. That's what we're all looking for after all. To hear how it sounds, even though (I'm figuring), you have it plugged into an amp. Much appreciated. Annette
thank you for this! I am keen to know one thing, if anyone can help with this dilemma, I'd be grateful: I got 2 options , yamaha psr 540 or yamaha psr e333 that is the question like which to choose... the first is newer of course, but this one has the advantage of an older and might more trustworthy mechanic as I see... am I wrong? Pls advise me guys which would be best deal to buy for a beginner thanks a lot!
@Angela020202 As sounds, they both are the same quality. One of the major differences though is that E333 has USB port, and E323 has the older MIDI port. I think E333 also has more voices.

@Norskal There is a headphone jack, but this keyboard is NOT recommended for you, because you need at least 76 weighted keys. The cheapest keyboard for you is the YPG-235 / DGX-230.
I wanted to buy Np-11, but this one looks nice and I available in local music store. How different are these two? Its gonna be my first keyboard, but I want to buy good enough to no need to change it too soon.
Hey, i'm thinking of buying a Yamaha portable keyboard and I still don't know which could sound better. Which piano would you think it's bettter? The Yamaha PSR-E323 or Yamaha PSR-E333? Please reply. Thanks.
Best Keyboard for beginners.. I used to use this for church. Amount of style is low rounding around 100 styles, but i think that should be fine... (I still have this keyboard)
Hi is it possible to save some settings. For exemple i want to save M.Octave to -1, to avoid that i need anytime to choose that when i turn on piano tnx
I have never played a musical instrument, but for some reason I have a passion to learn Piano, and I want to get a keyboard, but I am nervous if I get this if it may or may not be worth the money.
@Dude902 "The Yamaha YPT-330 and the PSR-E333 are identical keyboards, except for the color and name." This is what I found after a search. It's annoying when nobody answers your question :)
I have PSR330 and am trying to record in Banks. Following the manual, I get the same song in all banks, even tho following steps. (I think I am anyway)! Can anyone point me to a site or something I can follow to do this?
I've never played the piano/or keyboard before so this would be an absolute first for me,would anyone recommend it for a beginner and is playing the keyboard easy to pick up and learn??
Definitely an arranger workstation (this type of keyboard). But a cheaper one. Casio, let's say. If you have enough money, watch out for the number of keys so you don't get short (the larger the better) and the sensitivity.
lol turned out it's because the adaptor is still plugged. Even without the headphone, it turns off the speaker. It was a few weeks ago, but thanks anyway.
hip hop? lol. I am getting one of these though as the chord transponder makes it better than ones at a way higher price as far as composing, practicing and learning. preset songs are always questionable
