hi by I had a 2007 Apex 136 with 16,000 miles. Sold it last year and bought a Sidewinder 137”. It was alright but long story short I sold the SW this past Christmas and bought my Apex back of all things. I am actually quite happy. I don’t fret about low snow conditions and the Apex still runs like a top, way less invested. I really wonder how long you can run the SW without troubles? The issues with SW’s is all the Cat dna. Belt blowing (trait of Procross chassis sleds) and chain case issues.... Cat again.

I have an 06 apex attak. I wanna look into getting a sidewinder I really like the apex but the sidewinder I want for the power. My apex needs exhaust donuts is it worth replacing them or just selling it?

Oh yeah! ,,there is No sled that sounds as cool as an Apex.

we have a 2012 apex with the exup exhaust valves...not a lot of difference to this 2010. Maybe ill take it out next ride and see what she's like.

NOS Atvs I love my 13' XTX. 144 tipped rail with 1.75 paddle. Perfect setup for that sled

yeah...was thinking the 141 sidewinder with 1.75" track...maybe next year.

NOS Atvs I second that, buddy has a Pro Line clutched 2011 xtx, mine is a Pro Line clutched 2007 Attak...mine is slightly stronger on top. Both of us have better tracks too, RSII on mine. Now he bought a tuned SW, I guess I’m not faster anymore...by a long shot.

@@NOSAtvs Lol ! You'll love it. I'm on the fence about the Cat/Yam sleds. I guess more disappointed in Yamaha. I need to move on I guess ? Enjoy it if you get it. I know I would even if it's not a true Yamaha.

@@MBTUE I Think the match up is a good move...I don't think yamaha has ever been known for their cutting edge chassis, more for their engines. I've heard good things about the cat chassis. 1st batch of mods - Boost the turbo, clutches and exhaust. Interested to see how they perform at 270hp.

The winder is an absolute beast of a machine with a few mods. Definitely worth it. My favorite machine to date.

NOS Atvs yea I went in the summer and u can bring dirt bikes four wheelers anything that you can think of pretty much there but you would have to go get an ORV sticker and there's like free-roaming there and a lot of mud

Imda Mann he let off a bit. The sidewinder will take the apex at any speed. Im rocking a different apex today with the exup power valves. We'll see how big of a difference there is between these two. Sidewinder still has 40+hp on this one.

man the trails were a little rough...just got back. The exup apex definitely stood up to the sidewinder a lot better.

Get the yamacharger for that apex cheaper but still gain 20+ HP .Also your apex seems to be short track in your pre video pic. Try racing both sleds on hard pack I’m sure you won’t get spanked as much with stock apex but once the yamacharger would be in definitely keep up with that winder or barely lose him at most

@@nathanplante1479 Yamacharger sucks, for the money you spend you're better off getting a real setup.
