Did u know that thundercat/zr9000/sidewinder are the same thing just different brand. Cat sells there suspension to yamha and yamha sell there motor to cat. Same sled different gearing that's it.

I like my 1049 turbo viper with a power commander and clutched and she's lighter then the winder. Sure I paid way less then what your winder cost. Guess everyday someone brags the winder my sled does the same and is said to be the best 4 stroke ever made she's has 7200 miles with a turbo on it and still stomps anything I run across and she sips gas. o she sounds like a beast to and turns heads just going down the trail.

@@janabarber1691 your 190 HP turbo viper is not the same as a sidewinder lol... sidewinder makes more HP stock than your after market turbo kit,and sidewinders can be pushed over 300 hp, unlike your viper. Seen CFR 1000 eat a viper turbo aswell as clutched 850 etec. That would not be the same on a viper/tcat on full kill,or even half kill for that matter lol

Feel the same way about guess my old 2014 viper with a Hurricane turbo. 7007 miles I just turned on Sunday its 2020 now. She does the same thing this $18.000 sled does. Same with my old 700 triple triple. She still has that old yammie growl. Guess what she still running. Nether nickeled and dimed me.

Sodbuster346 if you can't handle it on a trail or rough field you shouldn't be ona sled in the first place. For 20 years I've ridden triple cylinder Indy's and ridden them everywhere that my friends with new sleds have.

@@snappydavegood8820 huh? 01/02 tcats with just simple clutch work and 170 HP stock motor would continuosly run mid 120's odd run 127-128. Stock the sidewinders/cats are 200 HP and struggle to break 118 mph stock. It takes 260 HP for the turbo to run over mid 120's, but the turbo would eat it in a drag race, so what he said was right. Speeds listed were on plowed ice

@@matthorvath7562 Gear the turbo Cat/Winder to the same ratio as the older Tcat and then run them. Old sleds with 24/39 (1.62) vs. 24/50 (2.08) for new-- BIG difference. See what you get. Compare on plowed ice, then on a snowy trail/backroad/lake. The older sleds sit lower resulting in less drag making the big bends of the newer,long travel skids, an advantage for sure. But the old Cat at 170 will not pull their 1.62 in mealy lake snow, the turbo with more power will, even geared to 1.62. JMO.

Sidewinders are not primary backcountry sleds. Thats like attempting to run a Summit/RMK/MCat at 110mph on long rail trails in the U.P. then jumping on a twisty trail-- you can try, but not the best choice. Buy the sled for where you ride.

@@snappydavegood8820 well said. Man some guys don’t think before they speak or in this case comment. It’s a trail/lake sled. Anyone that buys it cares about going fast or riding trails and handling. Not deep snow venturing
