What an awesome sound demo. Very interesting tuning ranges too. is the tuning somewhere around medium but a little bit high on the snare? correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, this that sounds phenomenal! I remember the first gen hip gigs that came out around 2001 blew me away! That was the first time I played a 16" bass drum and I was extremely impressed. It was the Manu Cache kit and I remember thinking the second gens weren't as good but this version is every bit as good. I own the sonar Safari I think it's much better than the breakbeats kit but I feel like the hip gig and the Tama Club Jam starclassic kit take the cake for the money. I really do like the 6-ply thin Maple shells that Tama uses. What I'm really interested in next is that pancake kit by Tama... and Ralph thanks for not turning that floor tom into a snare drum! 😂 I really think it only sounds good used full-time as a floor tom or a snare drum not back and forth. As always you sound great! I think it'd be really interesting hearing you play a big concert Tom kit!
