Ahhh yea! Sweet machine!😎🤘🏻 I've got the same bike and have chewed up over 33k miles on it so far. Actually stopped right near you on my way out to Sturgis last year😁. Good stuff bro
My Dad always taught me to learn a new car in an empty parking lot, learn its acceleration, stopping power and turning ability. Really smart way to start.
One of the best bikes I ever bought, intake, tune and exhaust is huge . I bought the raider after and did full bolt ons and always wanted my Stryker back. Enjoy 😎
I completely agree. Now that I have the new computer up, Ihave a backlog of videos to edit and a few more mods to make to the bike before It is stamped "complete". but dag I love this bike :)
Gorgeous bike!! Just picked up a 2011 all black "raven" version yesterday. Traded my 2016 Raptor 700se that I got off the showroom back in January of 2017 for it.
I have wanted one since 2014.. will finally have enough saved to buy one by my 30th birthday (obviously not new) I cant wait. have heard so many good things over the years and people seem to hang onto them once they own one.. only about 10 for sale in the whole of Australia ... that I can find online anyway
Just rode my Stryker for the first time. 2014 only 9,000km Its like no other bike I have ever ridden I have owned 2 other Cruiser , I think this one is a keeper
Small change probably enjoy it I was looking for one and have the money but our friend covid derailed my plans. Furlough is slow death lol... be safe and enjoy the green to me is the best color 👍
Hey man. Do you have the name or part number of that front fairing around the headlight? I want to get that one for mins, but I cannot find it anywhere. Thanks!
Hey Loy, what did you sue the capture the audio when you run out to the bike? That sound of the V&H is like music to my ears. I just got my 15' Stryker Bullet and debating on either the Cobra slip on or the full twin stag like yours.
That was nothing but my regular G7x mk 3 camera mic. Nothing special, it just sounds that good :) V&H just has that deep bark that sounds SO good, I highly recommend these pipes.
They are Juuust right. Loud enough to make you want to wear earplugs, but just squeaking under noise ordinances in all 50 states. nice and deep and throaty.
Hey so I picked up a basically Brand new 2016 Yamaha stryker and I love it. I'm upgrading the stock exhaust with a Vanes and Hines Twin Slash Starraged Exhaust. I was wondering if I need a tune or something after installing the exhaust and if I do, what do I need. I need this done asap, because there's a big ride happening in my city and I need to be there with my bike, I'm their main photographer. I'm in canada BC by the way. Thanks.
Look into Ivan's Flash. If you are going to open the airflow, the bike starts to run a smidge lean, pops hard on decel and get a little herky jerky on the throttle due to the power it makes and the fuel cut on decel; his reflash will take care of all of that and make the bike what it is supposed to be.
I own a matte grey 2015 model and i absolutely love it. It is my first motorcycle which is a bit big for a first bike but i could manage it. Very very reliable bike.
@@jurgenhlasek8740 I was truly surprised by just how good it is and so easy to ride. I agree that for a beginner its alot of bike, very long. But in Australia all beginners are limited to 650cc
@@BRUISER1 It was a friend of mines which i bought to help him with his cash flow problems. I need to see what our laws in Namibia say. The whole covid lockdown shoit stopped me from getting my learners and all of that so i have no clue what my limitations are hehe...
Oh yeah ! The legendary Stryker... EDIT : I love that you also own a Suzuki Intruder because just like Fender, they created the Pbass, but MIJ brands perfected it. Jap bikes all the way !
I have a 2014 Stryker. It was my first bike. After 2 weeks of riding it, I ripped out the air box and installed a hyper charger. I have a two in one cobra exhausted. 1 gear is about 50 mph and 120 is 4th gear. I have a few other things I'm going to do to it. Honestly mine doesn't really get that hot.
@@Loyventures I was riding today and looking at my Stryker I realized something that can really help you out. There is a kit for the rear tire that lowers the bike about two inches. That can help out in addition to the aftermarket seat you plan on getting. There is a company called mean and low that sells the kit.
@@aweba25 Because I like the look of the Velociraptor intake is all. as for the Spring, good call. I'm currently in my garage recording my Rear suspension Teardown while I install the PCS Slam Kit :-)
Lol it was. 2007 SE, six speed manual and the red leather. It got totaled about three years ago when I was rear ended at 70 mph; the hit from the guy (too busy drinking his coffee to notice traffic stopped) crumpled the rear frame. I'm in a 2012 Mini Coupe S these days (the Turbo hard top roadster) When I'm not on the Stryker. Man, that reminds me, I gotta update my intro.
I'm 5'7". Lowered the bike 2.25 inch and added a Z1r standard 1 up seat to get me a smidge closer to the bars. But even with the stock setup, there was not an issue reaching the controls; I just wanted to sort out my rider triangle.
I'm 5 4 with same green stryker. Put mini boards and constantly scrape probably because I'm coming from a sport bike. Not sure why someone taller than myself would want to lower the bike to limit its capabilities. I'm at the very balls of my feet but dnt feel the need to lower it. Rear suspension travel and lean angle are already mediocre. Might as well got a trike if u wanted to stay upright lol
Does this have enough power, with the speedo at 140 tops maybe 80-90 os pushing it..coming from a FZ1 whereit does 80 in first gear. I wanna slow down but NOT SLOOOOW down
well I mean, I wrecked it about a month ago when a Tesla Decided they were going to be where I was... but it'll do 115 and have about half of top gear left before ypu run a flash on it, I can tell you that...
I have the same bike but my speedometer cover is chrome, I prefer yours in black. What’s the seat you’re getting? I think you said it’s 1” lower, I’d be interested.
It's a z1r solo seat, made by parts unlimited. If you need it even shorter, they make a low profile version; so does low and mean customs. I'll be doing a video on the seat and the slam kit after I get the month of july craziness video thing out :-P
