I know there is at least one distillery you are very familiar with and I like their drams as much as you do! So that one is certainly on my (short) list. I just hope I can find a place to stay nearby.

De wind heeft wel een belangrijk voordeel merk ik nu. Hij houdt de midges bij je weg. Heb ik nu meer last van :)

I have no background in filmmaking and video editing, but by doing it I learn a lot about it. I am glad you like my efforts. Now I am on a campsite with almost no wind and these midges are immediately there. I use a Hilleberg Anaris tent. This is a lightweighted, but spacious and easy to pitch tent. Alles bij elkaar wandel ik nog aardig wat metertjes. Goed voor de conditie, komt straks weer van pas 🙂

Dank je wel voor het compliment, maar ik leg slechts vast wat de natuur voor mij in petto heeft. Ik heb je vraag over de bomen even aan mijn vriend Google voorgelegd. Wat ik vind is dat de in de middeleeuwen aanwezige bossen zijn gekapt voor huizenbouw en voor het verkrijgen van landbouwgrond voor de groeiende bevolking. Daarmee zijn hele bossen verdwenen en nieuwe aangroei wordt vrijwel onmogelijk gemaakt door de grazende schapen. Bomen in het Schotse Hoogland sterven door ouderdom uit en dat is een grote zorg voor de toekomst. Er zijn plannen gemaakt om de aanwas van bomen weer te bevorderen.

I don't even mind the wind that much while riding. It bothers me more during stops and when camping.

@@pruttelpost4445 I See. And most ppl wont agree with you on this. Sleeping in tents is fine, if you like that. However, I was talking about driving. /best regards fellow driver

I have often read that the Tricity is sensitive to wind, but I think it is not too bad, especially compared to the moped I rode.

@@pruttelpost4445 I have lived true experience loads of stuff on 2 and 3 wheels. I do love riding the Tricity. The massiv front IS a wind catcher..
