Hi, i got a yamaha nytro and im considering buying the 180 kit or the 240 kit... so can you tell me, is the 180 kit enough? Is there enough boost to do wheelies etc? Please reply... :)
No i was not talking to you. It was to colin24292429. Who said that those four strokes were not much heavier than my M8 . He tried to tell me I had minimal knowledge so I should not comment. I was trying to explain when your in trees all day picking lines threw heavily forested areas where we ride. That those sleds may be a bit to heavy to ride where we ride. There is a reason why the top guys in the Kootneys are not on four strokes. In Big Alpine four strokes rule the roost no doubt.
@ryanverrecchia Well im 19 and i bought a nytro xtx - 10 with 44mm track ribs and im looking for MORE fun;). I have driven the mcx 240 kit alot so i know how its like. But 180mcx kit sounds good, but can you do wheelies on the 180 kit? Like this long wheelies on flat ground? Is it any turbolag, or anything like that? Any answer would be good beore i buy turbokit,
Sorry to burst your bubble but the 2011 nytro xtx weights 560 and the mtx weights 625, your "2 smoke" doesn't weigh that much less. Please don't comment on things you have minimal knowledge on, try a Yamaha sled before you make assumptions, they out perform most sleds in its class and has the torque and low end power of which a two stroke lacks.
Depends where you live. Where we ride it is second growth trees mostly. You would be selling that 700 pound gorilla in no time. Most of us ride M8 turbos with 161 tracks and 3 inch lugs. In Revy , Golden you can ride Alpine and a NYTRO may be fine. But if your a BOONDOCKER like us a two smoke turbo is the only way to go.
All i have ever heard for those push turbos is that the yamaha dealership sells them, i havent went out and bought one myself. But just try out a yamaha dealership.
Um actually come ride with us anytime. I live in Nelson BC. My sled is 465 lbs full of gas and oil. And there is a reason NONE of the top riders ride four strokes around here. They are to heavy and no way as nimble in the trees as a sled 100 LBS lighter. Sorry guy hate to bust your TINY bubble but four strokes are great for Big mountain Alpine. You would not even make it threw the trees we ride with that heavy tank you cal a sled. Facts are facts guy. Sorry
