Today I installed new mirrors on my 2021 Yamaha TW200. These mirrors are made by Doubletake and they are the trail version. Doubletake is a great company that produces many types of off-road & on road mirrors for the TW200 along with other motorcycles. If you are in the market for small discreet mirrors I would highly recommend checking these out. For only 50 dollars these will change the look of your bike. Also they are pretty high quality and made in the USA! Keep in mind these mirrors are not DOT approved so make sure to check your local laws! Just installed a set of the Double Take enduro mirrors that use the Ram mount. Pricey but well made with a lifetime warrantee and meant to fold before off roading, or in the event of a crash. Seems like a good product.

Those mirrors are super nice! I was looking at them as well, if these mirrors don’t work well then I will switch to those. For now I really like these mirrors. Even though they are small they change the look of the bike a lot! The durability on the mirrors you got is by far the best I’ve seen for off-roading 🤘🏼

Although the stock mirrors look 'goofy' and are easily broken in a drop, they do at least give a half-decent view of what's behind you. Just from watching this video, it looks to me like the rear view just wouldn't be as good as the stock mirrors. It would be interesting to do some kind of video or picture comparison....

That’s definitely a good observation. The best I can describe these mirrors are: it’s like looking at a smaller font while reading. All the information is there it’s just smaller. I find these mirrors to be pretty good for how small they are. They show the road underneath my arms. Whereas the stock mirrors showed more of my arms. Also when off-road these are far better because they aren’t constantly hitting brush / trees. Without a doubt they are smaller, but in my opinion the pros outweigh the cons

Right after I filmed this video I did some off-roading & on road riding. They are actually great. I can see behind me fine. They are definitely smaller so it’s not a big field of view. But they do the job for me. I usually look over my shoulder anyway haha. Off-road they didn’t move around at all, they don’t even vibrate at higher speeds. I will be posting my on the bike review / off-road ride next week. Stay tuned! 😃
