Yamaha xj600 Street fighter ish, new digital speedo. how to install a digital speedometer. 

It's annoying cause the film is done but I'm going to release it on Tue or Wed I think. When I release 2 on 1 go normally 1 get a touch neglected.

It's stunning that 550. Pulls like a train. Will be so cheap to keep on the road within 6 months as it will be a historical vehicle. Its condition for its age is unbelievable.

I was thinking that switching to something similar to mine would sort you out but then you lose that look up front. You havnt got the little magnet yet have you? That could be all it needs although I'm not sure as I've never used magnet ones. I wonder if we bought a new magnet and pick up (generic one) if we would splice that into the old wiring. Problem is we won't be able to calibrate the clock as your clock can't do that. It's well complex dude

now i get how a digi clock works , i like the look of it and some how has a steampunk look to it, oh look how plush and comfy that Yamaha 550 seat is, a few years ago I thought that shape seat was REAL outdated but it has practically written all over it

Honestly thought that bike is 39 years old and looks that beautiful. It's crazy. I love that little clock. I'm going to start using them for any fighters I do I think. They tick all my boxes.

@Baz Bazdad no no no Baz, the xj600 sold yesterday for 750 mate. The maxim will be significantly higher although not stupidly priced either. Between 1500 and 2k I'm thinking. I didn't see a first comment mate? It might pop up a touch later, they don't always come in order.

@Baz Bazdad I've seen it and replied mate. The xj550 has not been sold and will not be sold for anywhere near 750 :)

It's stunning. It's 40 soon, I'll have to check the records but as soon as its 40 it's a historic vehicle. No tax. Mot ever again, emissions zones , nothing. Yet it pulls and brakes like a modern bike. It's stunning. It will be advertised at £1500 at first with a real life figure of £1250. It will pay for itself over the next 5 years.

Ebay has them. I liked to use the ones that still use the original pick up and cable from the wheel. If you look on ebay you will find plenty. Hope this helps.

Yes they are, as long as people know its an annoyance rather then an issue I guess

I knew it was the small pin but it dosnt effect the bike and is common. It can be changed if the sound annoys you but dosnt have to be changed. My channel is about making bikes better and saving them from the scrap. I also put ish in my title for people like you who like a moan. Thanks for watching and please subscribe

Hi, you screw your original cable into the back of these and they convert it to digital. They don't use the magnets which are a bit of a pain to set up. Thanks for watching, please like and subscribe.

@@daviddavidson3760 it's as accurate as the original from my tests. I've used 2 now. The back-light is a little dim but does the job. They don't have a specific name but here is a link to one. They normally come in black, silver or a bronze. They are very similar to the yamaha xj550 in my video I believe. Good old bikes from what little I know but I really don't know much about them. For the right price it will be cool

1982 burgendy and black one, £750? I love it. Its stunning. And it 2 years time the value shoots up as it becomes tax, mot and ultra low emissions zone excempt

@@motorcyclerescuer yes mate its in spalding. It says it runs . But its been of the road since 2009 . So will need a far bit of cash thrown into it
