Yamaha xt660x BlackWidow exhaust cans - Standard vs BlackWidow sound test Black widow yamaha xt660 xt660x xt660z tenere uk aftermarket stainless steel slip on exhausts
I'm on the edge of buying myself these exhausts for my 660. BUT I can't decide between the 3 sizes. I think yours are 380mm right? Next size is 400 then 450. I understand that the longer the can the less noise but they'll all be louder than the originals and less restrictive. I like a nice sound but not too much. Are yours proper ear busters? Would you go for longer pipes if you were to buy them again or stick with short n loud? Cheers. Good vid BTW, the most helpful I've found so far.
I ended up buying the 450mm and they're just right. Some days I leave for work early and I thought it'd be best to go for the lower end of the loud spectrum in consideration of the neighbours. Especially as we're new to the culdesac. But they sure do sound beefy especially without the baffles.
Amazing bike, love it, but one thing strikes me. It must be a really bad bike to have a passenger on the back. Because im thinking just by looking at the bike, that the passengers legs will be touching the exhausts which are burning hot so the passenger will get their legs burnt by the exhausts. Is that true? :D
My friend please can you send me one quality sound of the black widow exhaust without db killers???because im interesting to buy them . .i want too much loud. .i love noise
bargain. and very well made cans. it was liz that told me to get them. When we went to matlock last Friday she said it wasn't loud enough compared to all you lots bikes. cool eh.
Sorry for the late answer. No e number or ABE. You can ride around in the UK with it. In Germany or Austria, we will be in big trouble with these cans. I really like these exhausts but the risk of getting fined is too high I guess.
