This is the best looking Vstar bobber. You made it look like it’s worth a lot more. A lot of people make it look like junk and basically destroy the value. Well done. I’d love to do one like this at some point.
I’m awfully late to this, but this bike looks incredible. Makes me want to hire you to build me a custom bike out of a bit nicer base model. Really love the work you did here. 10/10
Holy Shoot, bike’s awesome looking man. Guessing by now it’s long been sold to a lucky new owner. Great job done though. Blue Collar Bobbers’ kits add so much to these choppers.
I named this bike “The black stallion” it’s a beauty!! I have a 2000 Yamaha V Star 650 custom and would love to customize it just like yours man!! Do you happen to have the links on where you purchased the accessories such as the led strip, signal lights, bags, etc!! Just fell in love with that black stallion!!
Hi there Buddy. So sorry I haven’t left a message earlier. Unfortunately I don’t have any links. It was so far back. Wish you all the best with your build
Hello. I love your idea of attaching the pannier to the bike! Can I have a photo and dimensions of the bracket for fixing the wardrobe trunk? Thanks!
awesome bike mate! Great to see so many custom parts and the fact that its still so neat and tidy! I went on that custom cruisers website but couldnt find that LED strip light?
The kit is from Blue Collar Bobbers, It came with a 1969 Bullet style rear brake light. Unfortunately is illegal to have in NSW so I bought a LED strip online from Custom Cruisers in USA.
awesome awesome job with this build! very clean this design absolutely timeless! I think exhaust wrap is to insulate the pipe so the heat stays inside. This is done not just for rider comfort but keeping exhaust gasses hot does aid in power production. are you building anything else? If so please keep us posted.
Just now seeing your reply 😊 That's great brother ✌️😎 Blessings from Georgia USA 🍑 🙏 I own a 2008 V Star Silverado Classic that I'll hopefully be working on during the winter months. It was stolen a couple of years ago and somehow made it's way back to me. It sustained some damages, but nothing I can't repair or replace. She'll be running and on the road again one day. Keep The Shiny Side Up Brother 👆 🪶
beautiful bike brutha! just bought my first bike last week and its a vstar 650. will be doing a bobber build as well. What wheel/tire sizes were you running on that bad boy if you dont mind me asking?
Lovely bike!! I'm currently trying to rebuild an older mistreated XVS650, and i really like the way you did yours. May i ask were you found the rear fender, Led strip and license plate mount? Good luck on the sale :)
Hi mate, I found the number plate mount at a local bike shop, and got the LED running light strip from a website in the US. Along time ago now so I have no idea. Wish you well with your build
TheThornes i bought a Vstar 1100 today!! So happy. Got it at a great price too with low kms. 👌 ordered my blue collar bobber kit today as well & cant wait to receive it and start having some fun! Yippie ki yay 👍👍
The bracket and straps came together with the fire extinguisher. That is part of the reason why are used that particular extinguisher. All I did was expelled the contents, and chopped off the bottom. Then added a plumbers plug
Hi! Back again, I would love to get in touch with you as I bought the same bike and currently customizing it, Love your work and would like to ask you some questions and tips. Can I send you an email?
Really nice build, just wondering about the LED strip, how did you mount it under the fender? Is it the truFLEX brand? did you use the side mount option (extra double sided tape) to mount it? Thanks in advance
Question. Is there anyway you can install a removable backseat on this bike?? Want to keep it as it is. But if you get a girl😜 you need space for her...
I'm looking for that exact solution for a back light as it's illegal in my country as well. I can't find it on custom cruisers and nothing like it anywhere else. Do you have a link for the light, and I would really like to know how you installed it!
You should be able to find it on Custom Cruisers still. Email them and ask. I took the back fender off and fed the wiring up through the inside of the fender. A couple of mates who are handy really did a great job on it.
@@radmatos1225 I thought about that too cause I have the classic and the rear fender looks hideous in my opinion, I just want the small slammed look of this style fender.. best of luck buddy!
