The sound deading is in the cat /bread box not the can. You need to get a slip in dB killer.

Nice video. Is it to loud with akrapovic slip on and link pipe? Does it annoy you during the ride? And how much loader is it than stock?

Yes it’s loud. And on longer rides it did annoy me. I actually swapped it back to just the cat and Akra slip on as i was commuting on the R1 and it was just ridiculously loud for me every morning and night. And yes it’s way louder than stock. It’s essentially like having a straight through system with my Akra slip on. If it’s just a weekend warrior bike then I’d recommend it as it sounds good. But if you ride regularly and longer rides it may get on your nerves but everyone is different 👍🏻Hope this helps.

Is the akrapovic slip on have a baffle to be removed? Is there any restriction on the can itself . I just ordered the laser etched one you have from UK. I live in USA i hope its not a restricted can

The one i have has no restriction or baffle in the end. They do make another one that does have a baffle in it. I think from memory thats the GP one.

@@DaSpedzaMotoVlogs I've got myself an R1 and it's had the link pipe done but with the stock exhaust. It's WAY too loud. I listened to your video with headphones on and the akro is about 2-3x quieter, it looks way nicer too. I'm getting myself the slip on. I also noticed mine cuts out a shit load at idle, if I'm in first and give the throttle a twitch before I take off, it drops below idle and cuts out. Rare, but it does do it. Mine's also been tuned to suit the mid pipe and it STILL cuts out.
