Thanks for showing us the new bazaar items(especially its flaws) Pixelcave :) The set visually doesn't appeal to me and the insane price makes it very easy for me to just completely ignore it like so many other Bazaar items, but what's worrying me a bit is that they seem to get more and more detached from reality and the little amount of old hardcore fans that are still in the game... It really shows that there is very little focus on Conan Exiles and the quality of their updates, such a shame, so much potential wasted, all because of insane greed!
Thank you. It's indeed disappointing that many items in the various Bazaar sets seem to have issues or don't function/look as expected. Luckily everything is optional, but for those who would like to purchase, paying relatively high prices should also provide quality items.
Great showcase again. I'm happy that i'm not a part of the funcom employes that had to make that. Must be a shitty feeling for them....releasing stuff like that. The best is the price...realy?! I have to say, Dune Awaking will be the same...only difference...it will be right from release. Oh...before i forget....congratz to 18.000 subs! 20 is just around the corner.
The price is hefty and since items return anyway sooner or later, I would definitely hold off on any potential purchase until they fix things and you're satisfied with what's on offer.
I always thought to myself that those prices are too big. To get some cosmetics that are a fraction of a DLC for a price of two old school DLCs. :/ Then I checked who owns Funcom and everything became clear. Everything sucks when that company starts meddling around. Darktide, Dying Light 2, CE just to name a few. A rotating bazaar with fake "sales" and outrageous price tags. They'll never learn.

Great showcasing and analysis as always. A great looking Set overall. Cost is around 390coins per item which, depending on how much you actually paid for your CCs. For me, the effective cost per each of the nine items is £0.31, making it a closer to what I would've paid per item in the old DLC bundles. And before we (me) go pearshaped regarding the costs, just think whether you buy a fizzy drink/caffeine product and something to snack on per day. By UK prices, that's around £3.65+£2.25 so weigh that up to how much you will use the bazaar re-skins.
Thank you. Cost is as always relative, that's true. There are also many players who have no problem spending a significant amount of money on a game they play just 1-3 months, and others would rather see something with longterm value. It's all down to "is it worth it for YOU". So yeah, prices are debateable, and seeing where the industry is heading, I don't think we'll see them coming down. However, items should still match expectations in terms of quality, functionality and so on - and the Bazaar still has a long way to go.

This set roughly costs 20 euros/US$, double the price of a DLC. And then they don't even include sitting positions... thank you for your presentation. As always very informative!
I think funcom just wanted to get their end of the year vacations, they really made everything in a hurry, then why not wait to january to release Chapter 3???
It's a high risk to release bigger content updates with new game mechanics etc. so close to the holidays, I guess we can all agree on that. I'm sure they aren't happy themselves with all the issues, but who knows what the inner workings are and what a delay would potentially entail. I guess only Funcom knows - they made the decision, they need to deal not only with fixing things, but also with the backlash.
Hi Wak, thank you for all the effort you put into your videos! A while ago I'd discovered the Shemite Mercenary armor, shield and mace which I first saw in the dev stream for Age Of War's chapter 3. So far I haven't seen that set in the bazaar...has it actually been released already or is it scheduled for Chapter 4?
Hey there, I don't think the Shemite armor was in the Bazaar yet, and I could imagine it will arrive in a set with a Camel saddle - but since these are bugged currently, I'd say they'll add it with the next Chapter (just a guess). No problem at all, always happy to help. With each bigger update the Wiki usually gets updated with info it finds in the game's database - this can be all new Bazaar items that are planned for a chapter, unrelated from when or if they will be obtainable. So usually that can give you an indication of what's coming, but not necessarily a guarantee (things might be cut or delayed).
I have yet to buy anything from the bazaar. Considering the old DLC's had entire building sets and usually an artisan table that had tons of decorative objects for $9.99, the price for the bazaar sets is way out of line for the amount you get... $20 (sale price) for a broken Japanese themed bar set with only 9 items? No thanks. Things like paintings that do not place properly on the walls, seating patrons cannot sit on, and objects with clipping issues, the whole thing just feels like a low effort scam, which is sad, because if they actually did a better job at a respectable price I would genuinely want to support them. The individual pieces look great but in the end, the implementation is garbage. They need to shape up and do better by their customers, but first their customers need to stop throwing their money at this kind of rubbish work.
been waiting for this one, I even have the building ready, but the price is a major deterrent. I tend to suppress how awful the pricing is, and while I like what they've been doing with the battle pass and want to support the team, this ain't it. things not working properly is salt in the wound, I guess.
I see the "owned" on the forlorn crypt set. I need a review prior to it leaving in a few days, please. Feedback for you and your channel; release review the sets leaving the bazaar first.
I get that, but with the now even shorter rotation times (they halfed them), it becomes more and more difficult to cover all bigger sets. We cover select ones when we can and which we find interesting. Making a thorough video takes time - making them faster would mean we have to change the format, something to be considered. However, often you only discover flaws with items when you spend some time building, or trying to dye an armor set, using emotes with thralls - lots of things you might not think of when just spawning an item.
@@Pixelcave Totally get that and you are going to have more demand on the bar set than the dungeon set. I heard there are some issues with the sets lining up properly and so you have visible light bleed through. That's what I'm most concerned about since that set is a hefty cost. But that's my pain and you got a channel to run. I still love your work and you are definitely a go-to that every Conan fan needs to subscribe to.
Really appreciate it, @erjoh305. Don't get me wrong, it's very tempting to do more Bazaar videos, but unfortunately we also don't see big views on them. There's seemingly always a big demand for them, but it doesn't really show, at least not for our channel. It might be that other creators are simply faster or more of a go-to place for this type of content.
I still don't understand why they've divided the decor items in the game up into two categories with the artisan bench and the hammer, I don't know why they can't just put either all of the decor in the artisans bench or all of the decor on the hammer... I know that the earnings in the bench having some function is nice and all, being able to craft with it as opposed to having it there for just pure decor purposes, But man is it annoying.
No, unfortunately it seems to be one particular direction that (any) wall faces which doesn't allow placement of the painting. You can notice something similar with other items, being more or less flush to the wall, but usually they at least can be placed somehow - not this one!

You have to take the Bar Keeper off the Bar Counter in order to access their inventory - then change armor like with any other thrall. Once you changed the armor, you can put them back at the counter.
It shouldn't be. Do you have mods installed that could cause a conflict? You just move the thrall off the bar counter and place them like any other follower to access their inventory.
I guess it's very questionable. While they are not saying it's an offer, but a bundle discount - I'd say consumers should know what all the individual items cost without "discount" in order to see what the real savings are.
Yes, single items don't have "before" prices. I'm just sharing Funcom's explanation, that's all - when you see a "discounted" price, it's not because items are on offer, but because they say it's a bundle discount. Do with that what you want, it's nothing else than an "offer" in disguise, but without letting buyers know what exactly they save.

Was excited for it but yet again its Funcom quality . . . so i guess ill pass even tho Yamatai/Khitan are my favorite , maybe they will add something i can care about in 2024 , as things stand my playthrough is on life-support , well then , back to Moria it is . . .
Hey, it's always good to take breaks - even from games we really love or enjoy. And if you've played Conan for a long time already, moving on at one point is just natural. Maybe the next Age will add something which makes you want to play again, who knows. How's Moria btw, haven't tried it yet.
It's decent, not game of the year but one of the better adventure/survivals I've recently played , the building aspect is more constrained but each world is RNG , big set pieces are static but the connecting ones are random (via SEED) also 50% off atm on epic +33% holiday coupon . . . so about 15$ total , its a steal @@Pixelcave
All I can say about this Yamatai Tavern Set, it's THE SCAMMIEST SHT I bought in bazaar and its for at least $26 CAD. What a fkin FALSE advertisement for this sht.
The only thing I could recommend, is to not impulse buy and wait a little to see if anyone shares details about new items. Be that on RU-vid, the forum, reddit, etc. Not ideal, but knowing how often some of the Bazaar stuff has caused frustration, probably the best move.
I can see why it can be a love/hate relationship with the game, but if it frustrates you too much, and you feel the game isn't heading in the right direction, it's always best to take a break and try out a few other things. Maybe check back in with the next Age?
