@@alexderek5233 Actually not sure, maybe responding to marketing or advertising purpose or even to her fans. But I watched the whole clips last night. One episode stated that YU YAN met her teammate Sharon WANG & told she took shooting until midnight i.e. back at 3am, then hasn't got any sleep and kept on practice. Sharon admired & respect to YU's mentality for catching up the pace so she took initiation to teach YU about the small steps. That's why YU Yan seems not really ready when battling with LIU. The host organization seems always selectively edit the episodes for particular candidates, including YU Yan, and the timelines made audience confusing very much! They chose to show the latter scenario first i.e. the battle scene w/ Liza's comment on YU or kept using negative titles. Really unfair to YU. Yet, it is believe that YU would overcome the obstacles, esp she is so all-round to pick any positions on stage.

Im glad they decided to show this to atleast showcase Yu Yan wasnt in her normal condition during her performance for Lisa. Only wish they did this one first before showing the Yu Yan vs Xin Liu. I've been trying to be unbiased as much as possible but it's hard to not be biased at Yu Yan. Props to you Yu Yan. Even tho you dont have a lot of scr.time in the show, you managed to attract alot of fans simply because of your performance and the small bits of scr.time they do show. Just stay healthy is the only thing I wish even tho I know it's hard for a perfectionist, especially in that situation you were dealing with.

Yan Yu is such a relatable and interesting character. It looks like Yan Yu is a perfectionist; hoping all parts is done perfectly without instant regrets. She overworks and makes sure everything goes her way although it means she has to sacrifice her health. She wears a poker face and look fearless. She doesn’t want to show any weaknesses and doesn’t want her teammates to worry about her. They said that Yan Yu eats a corn always. And she restricts herself from eating snacks or sweet foods. She doesn’t eat the nutritions she needs, she works way too hard all the time that she forgets to take care of herself, she’s too hard on herself, and I can’t help but to be too worried about her, she looks thinner and pale, I had those stomaches that you practically have them because you’re not eating enough or you have a long time without eating. She need to eat more and take care of herself, I’m really worried about her. And the fact that other trainees admire her because of how less she eats, i don’t know, it makes me too anxious. She can faint, or have worst stomach problems if she keeps like this. She needs nutritions to stay healthy and strong. She’s already strong and beautiful, but I feel like she was way more strong and beautiful at the beginning, cause now I feel like she’s getting weak because of how less she eats and how much she works. Please take care of Yan Yu. :( 💓

Yan Yu actually is very determined. You can sense it through her works and practices. I still remembered her expression while waiting for the number one vocal rank during their position evaluation. You can see how much she wanted her team to win.

Mg hope she’s okay, Lion is a pretty lit song with a lot of power moves. She needs to eat and rest. Not only YuYan but all trainees too cause although camera don’t show it, some trainees sleep 1-2 hours a day. Like Xin Liu she has something wrong with her knees (if u see whenever she bows after a battle, she protects her left knee with her hand) and voice, been spotted going to the hospital 4 -5 times. Shaking who also had a problem with her knee, but was still practicing using her cane. After watching this, i really realized how harsh it is for all trainees, hope all of them get enough rest and stay healthy!

You know what I'm liking with this show? They don't push the girls to compete between themselves to the point of them trying to take the others eyes out, there's always some point like this, of them helping each other out, or like when Xin Liu helped EVERYONE with the Miss You 300 song even when they were competing against each other. That's true companionship.

My abuela used to be a dancer with really bad stomach problems like this, she had to lay down and rest immediately after every dance she performed. It really makes me admire this girl
