It's not the industry that needs to take notes, it's the fans and viewers. The industry is literally just doing things to please the masses, the industry never DECIDED that this is how it should be, there's market research that showed a certain figure was overall more appealing, so following the already existing taste of the public is just helping sales. If being fat was trendy, the kpop industry would throw food at their idols. But this is also a vicious cycle because now the average taste becomes a mainstream standard and it becomes hard to get out of this mold and do something different. A girl like her who falls directly into the beauty standard of the industry really doesn't help the cause no matter how ethically and morally nice what she says is. Gladly there's artists like Hwasa who are actually changing things for real.

@@charred6683 yeah i agree with you. this is vicious circle, the market prefer skinny idols, so labels produce skinny idols no matter what, hence it reinforces the idea of being skinny = being beautiful, so the people want more of it, and it never ends.

Ehh...Being healthy and not caring all that much about weight basically means that it's good to work out and put on muscle. However every single interview I've ever seen with east asian women points toward the fact that they would rather on average do excessive diets than actually work out. That said even if you work out, you'd still have to watch your diet.

Fun fact: I’m only 12 years old but I have abs. And my workout routine is only 20 minutes a day. Oh and it’s and same for me, when I am not doing sports I am dancing. And I don’t diet because I NEED FOOD OK?!

@@user-zf5hl2tr3n it's because you are twelve and young still. when you get older it becomes harder to maintain a good physique. but you should definitely keep it up! starting from a young age is the best thing tbh. just continue eating everything you want and don't start yourself 'cause that's super bad for your health. you will be able to keep the abs and have the body you desire for sure if you keep it up!

Not only the clothes, but the sneakers as well, each round they change their sneakers. They all have the same sneakers during practice. As far as I can remember they had 4 different pairs now. Pure white, pink soles, yellow soles and their latest have purple soles. I'd be happy to have just 1 pair, more so if I had 4. Nike sneakers aren't cheap. There would be 1 more elimination before the finals, that means another pair of sneakers for those who would advance.
