I wish I went but I had to go back to Kalgoorlie. If I'd known about the Yanchep line opening, I would've gone to the for the festival and trains for a few hours then stay in Southern Cross overnight. I'll definitely keep an eye and ear out for the grand opening of the Ellenbrook line
You may notice that they misspelled one of the new bus stops (Marmion Av Before/After Mordernism Av, supposed to be Modernism Av), and it shows on both the app and the Eglinton Stn bus stops 💀 Probably on Alkimos Stn too but I didn’t check there
Lets go!!! as someone who lives in melbourne but travels to perth ALOT, i am so exited to travel on it when i go there next, by the way, can everyone get thoes smartriders, or is it just for people invited to the event and of course looking to the station video coming our way, keep up the great videos!! thats also so strange with the station signs being black, i feel it would be better to keep it consistent with the line colour
I got some questions, do you know if the midland land is still being extended? why does yancheap have 3 platforms being an end of line station? and know perth has not more patterns or express services?
@@izayahlewis6839 A new Midland Station will be built on the opposite side of the Helena Street level crossing, slightly extending the line. An extension to Bellvue is still under investigation. Yanchep has three platforms mainly because there is five minute frequency in peak so they need three platforms to turn them all around, and also it is good provision for Stadium events and a possible future East Wanneroo Line. There are no more express patterns now correct.
When I came into Yanchep on the fourth train, I saw some kangaroos inside the fences near the track. When I came back three hours later, they were not there anymore. Most likely the same kangaroos that were in the video. I told a Transperth staff member when I arrived at Yanchep. Hopefully that did the trick.
@@FalconXE302 What am I criticising? There is stuff that everyone knows is problematic with these projects. It is extremely delayed and was delivered at over double the budget, and then the final product still has many rushed elements.
I agree there is way too much criticism happening especially from people who say it's over budget and took years to complete. I'm glad Labor has fulfilled their commitment to build metronet projects such as the Yanchep extension and it will pay for its self over the next couple of years in operation. It's rather fascinating the government rely on influencers to do their media spruiking 😊
