The U9 will be a halo car only made in small numbers. And cars in general cannot reduce carbon foot print unlike mass transit can. However, if any car can be thought of as "environmentally friendly", it would be a small city car that is cheap, produces no emissions, and only needs a small battery. One of the best selling small city EV will be made by BYD, the new BYD Seagull.

@@on19s LOL, Sure that's right. But the point is that there is a government that might disagree with you and make a law that forbids ICE's. Like this happened with 2-stroke engines because we all can do without and is bad for society in several ways.

This is a pure EV with 4 motors and 1200 HP that does 0-100 in 2.0 seconds not a gas car 😂

Well BYD trying so good to be in the market but In my opinion BYD should change their brand name and logo. It doesn’t sound like a car brand.

Its silhouette especially the roofline is a result of convergent design. Yes it shares similar lines as that of McLaren and the new Honda NSX. Maybe its just the most aerodynamically efficient design.
