Soto was already a multiple time All Star, and a batting title and a championship in Washington. Chisholm was an All Star in Miami. Cole was at the top of the rotation, was a multiple time All Star, and won a championship in Houston. Rizzo was a multiple time all star, and won a championship in Chicago.
