@Tom Brunell they actually have a good starting rotation and aligned like 4 top ten prospects to be starters this year. So I wouldn't say they always were considered a tough game. In fact, the rays went 18 -1 against the orioles 2 years ago. This year is defitvely a stringer team😊
This was an Orioles Classic right here. MASN's going to be replaying this one for years to come. And they beat the MFY's, which makes anything twice as sweet.
Best home opener I can remember from the os in quite a while, have alot of young talent if our pitching performs who knows how far we go this year. Let's give O's
Man, it was a blast being there at the game. The fans were crazy and the team feeds off of it . This team has a lot of magic, talent, and youth on its side for years to come. Let's go O's!
Being an oriole fan has been a rough 9 years but I can see the potential the O’s have and it’s very exciting. I feel like this has been the toughest division to play in year over year.
The comeback team of ‘22 did just that again in the home opener of ‘23. Cold weather but fun to watch. The Camden crowd was electric. Total team effort for the win.
Huge... HUGE win for my Baby Birds. It's so good to see this young, very talented team come out the gate with a statement. That statement is... We're here now! And We Ain't Going Nowhere. If you think that this is the Orioles from 2018, and you're gonna roll into Camden Yards and get a easy 3 out of 4, you will be sadly mistaken. The thing that will determine if we will make the playoffs is the bullpen. If we can get quality middle innings to get to Bautista to close it out, then the skies the limit. We will score, we will get decent starting pitching, but if the bullpen looks like last year, I'm telling you right now, the Baby Birds are gonna be a serious problem in the AL East. I'm so excited for this team. Get behind this team Baltimore, they are gonna make us feel good about Oriole baseball in 2023
Always fun to catch an Orioles game! Glad to be apart of this one and see Camden Yards rocking again! Also it was fun not dealing with Yankees fans hardly any of the showed up today. 🤣
Always good to out number Yankee fans. But a little easier in spring before school is out and weather is warm. The Yankee fans usually come in flocks in the summer especially if on weekend. They have a weekend series in Camden Yards in late July on the weekend. Orioles fans should try to buy up as many tickets as possibly for that series to keep out as many of those damn Yankee fans as possible. Unfortunately it still won’t keep out those front runners who root for them just because they are the Yankees. But if we Baltimore fans can get in front of it, we can see a lot more Orange and Black for that series.
@@capsfan3940 Right. Today was very encouraging. I noticed it right when I got to my seats, hardly any Yankees fans in sight. The only one’s I really saw had customized jersey’s on which is always funny. I saw a few that said Jeter. 🤣
I don’t know. I’d actually blame that relief pitcher more giving up those late inning hits and with those wild pitches, one that scored the game winning run for Baltimore
Aaron Boone’s instincts and decision making are terrible. Why pinch hit to replace a guy who just hit a 3 run homer with a guy who hasn’t had a single hit this year?
