Nice review. What are your thoughts on AC VS DE in terms of closeness of shave and mildness? Tricky question since there's different blade choices in each format. It seems like both formats can get you to a BBS shave, so user preference might come down to ease of operation, nimbleness, perhaps one format tends to need fewer passes, or is easier to rinse etc.. AC definitely seems to have an advantage with the smaller heads getting under the nose, and broader blade covering more in one stroke. Perhaps less prone to weepers with the thicker AC blade? I guess the ideal is to get the closest shave possible with the least irritation, and in the fewest number of passes / ease of use in terms of easy to find angle and also avoid nicks. Curious to hear what format you've found best, DE, AC, Injector, GEM or any format for that matter.

Great comparison John🙂 Now that you have gotten me into SE shaving more with the Parker Solo Edge, I am paying more attention to the SE videos 😆 It is funny how much wider the artisan razors are compared to the standard DE razors. It is like a squeegee !
