FYI. When using gold paint. To produce a richer color, pre spay with a red paint, not bright red but more burgundy. Dry then hit with gold, adds to richer tone This is great, especially when using gold leaf on frames.

Love those sconces! They are beautiful! I've used metal sconces outside. I have 2 on the outside wall of my house and 2 on my fence. I use solar candles in them and they look really cool at night.

When painting something gold, do an underlay of dark red first if you do not want it to look brassy.

I liked the chandelier before but painting it gold really looks nice in your bathroom. ❤️ I was hoping you would have bought the bowl that was plain white on the outside and had a pattern on the inside. 😂😂

The chandelier is perfect. The book was amazing. I like the sconces and good to have extra plates in case one breaks. Blanket❤ and loved the basket. Wouldn’t the blanket look good in the basket?

Good morning Elizabeth, Love the bathroom light. The one you took down was even nicer, but if it’s not your style, it’s never going to be right. I loved the old light, it used to be in our foyer actually. It’s original to the house. I will never get rid of it. I do worry about the 100 year old wiring… which is why I felt it was better to take it down for now.
