I'll never cease to be shocked at how you don't come away with a trailer full! Kinda fell for those huge cork base lamps and the floor tiles in that vintage bathroom were gorgeous!

You find the best places! I was mesmerized throughout the video. I think I would have splurged my monthly allowance at the first yard sale within 15 minutes. I am looking for a buffet too and was instantly drawn to the one you bought. I saw my perfect “husband” on the receiving dock at our local Habitat about 6 months ago and they had just priced it for $200. Someone had actually painted it white and distressed it and it looked stunning. Luckily I open the cabinet doors and got hit in the face with a musty smell which I now realized was actually mold. I was heartbroken too but glad I caught it before the marriage!

For Pete's sake DON'T paint your stain glass cabinet. Live with it for year first before doing something drastic like that. Adding legs is a good idea though.

😂😂😂 I can tell you fall on the 'no paint' side. So I will let you in on a little secret: I'm only painting it until I have time to sand down the whole thing and re-stain it (which it really needs, but doesn't show up well on camera). I promise, this is just a temporary fix until I can restore it to it's former glory ❤️❤️❤️

@@LazyDIY-THRIFT I'm not a never paint girl, but are you sure you wanna paint only to then remove it? Sounds like triple the work. What about just a Howard's restore a finish treatment? I fixed a free wood dresser that way and it was so so dry. Whatever you decide is A-OK with me of course :) It's A BEAUTY!

That buffet would be easy enough to fix. Some White Ligtning cleaner from Dixie Bell, wood filler..it could be repainted and beautiful!

Love the 2 matching pictures! I think you might of been interested in the pink lamps with crystals. That big wooden bowl was interesting & the mirror with ornate trim, lots of great items, great video 🎆😊 oh & that nice wicker chair, before you showed the art. WOW!!!! that oscillating showcase, wild. You have a knack or crazy luck finding sales, the artwork is amazing.🎆😌sorry I keep seeing more & more, that bedroom furniture was EVERYTHING! You made a great deal with cabinet, screen & baskets, don't think I would mess with glass cabinet 💝

My mom use to do injection of a product in the termites holes to kill the invasives bug so we can save every old furniture we find :)

Wow. I have never seen termites in a wood piece before. I would be freaked out too, but tempted to figure out how to fix-fumigate that piece. It's so strange how we can see something so wonderful and then go to so much effort only to have it fall apart before our "new eyes" when we get it home. Farking black widows too. You're so conservative with what you buy, it's admireable. I would diiiieeee to have that Hollywood regency lamp with the crystals and the glass globes. OMG. What an amazing lamp. Heard some scary stuff about thrift stores closing in Sacramento. Hope you are all well. Love your videos. It's like shopping ... but relaxing.

I would have totally fixed that buffet. fill in holes ,sand and stain . good as new . I thought it was going to be non repairable when you were talking about it.
