The way you display your fragrances is a work of art! You have such an eye for detail that it literally leaves me gasping, "oh how beautiful!" I am also realizing that I need to arrange my pictures on the wall more like you do. You're so inspirational! Thank you for sharing this glimpse into your world with us! Great review and LOVE The Downton Abbey intro! BIG thumbs up! 👍👍👍
Catherine how sweet you are. You know I got the idea for the photo arrangement in my closet from the wall above the desk in Miranda Priestly's office in The Devi Wears Prada. so as usual, I got my inspiration from the movies! Cheers.
Nice review. I am really looking forward to buying one of these Yardley scents. They seem to have so much a rich history and that's why I look forward to having a scent like yours.
LANIER! Was just thinking of you yesterday. So glad to hear from you again. You are such a creative reviewer. Know you had a fun filled Independence Day. Till the next time. Cheers!
Thank you Lanier!!! Never heard anyone compare a fragrance to a corn tortilla before. lol As far as the last two in the line, they actually look the most interesting to me. Gentlemen Legacy edp looks like a orange woody spicy and Suave edt looks to be a spicy and musky floral neroli. Legacy looks like a great autumn pick up.
I have used the classic one before, today after watching this review i ordered both classic and urbane 😂😂, i just love Yardley, it really gives me the feel of a real gentleman, thanks for the review sir, really helpful 👍
Hello Lanier, Gentleman , Urbane , Suave , it seems Yardley have based their entire range on you sir. Thanks for another fine honest review. And what a beautifully housed collection you have. you have put me to shame my paltry collection is shoved in a draw in the spare bedroom. You have better displays than most fine stores.By the way as a Brit I hope you and your fellow colonials had a great Independence Day. Very kind regards cheers.
Adam, how very kind of you. I am so flattered by your complement. thank you. We had a lovely 4th of July here. A big Barbecue for the whole neighborhood. Lots of food and fun. And of course fire works. It was great. Thank you for asking. Cheers.
Hmmm, the opening description of Gentleman's Classic sounds sort of like Boucheron Pour Homme (definitely Jaipur's slightly lacking cousin in comparison). But I guess it got better inthe dry down. Looks like the Urbane may prove a better overall experience. Thanks for sharing!
I have just bought Yardley GOLD today. I like it, though I am uncertain at this point, how much I like it. But it is nice, far, far better than any other AUD$20 perfume I have ever tried. It seems very strong and I enjoy strong scents. I want Gentleman Elite, but I cannot track it in a shop. I will end up buying it on-line, I suppose. Thank you for the video and have a fabulous day!
Have you tried their Gentleman Citrus & Wood EDT (it is an older release)? It is a citrusy, peppery, and woody perfume. It is very similar to Terre d'Hermes!
@@laniersmith1798 The EDT doesn't perform well. So try layering with its body spray version for better mileage. Interestingly; the body spray smells smoother & performs better than the EDT which I tried!!
