i LOVE this new and improved characterization of dad-inuyasha. he's able to actually communicate his ideas instead of just losing his temper or running headlong into danger or insulting people into following directions. i always thought inuyasha had a decent brain somewhere under all that trauma response & testosterone. he just needed to mature into it, and learn healthy social skills. XD we always saw glimpses of him being a good leader in his own show, great to see him warming up to a future mentorship role too.
It was one of those things lost in translating the manga into anime. In the original source he would sometimes show off that he was a pretty tactical thinker in combat (just slow on the social graces). A lot of those moments got clipped or trimmed out when some of the more elaborate and challenging fights were shortened for TV run time.
I can’t stop replaying Moroha calling Inu “Dad” It’s such a blessing to hear with the dub especially. The baby girl loves her parents so much already! 😭😭
I think it's more than that I think he knows something about towa, that not even her mother and father know about maybe a unique ability thats incredibly rare in half demons that not even full demons can acquire
@@cookietough30 I ask because if it's to moroha then it's because the show treats her so poorly that towa saying that feels off. Since towa doesn't seem to care for moroha much.

Why does inuyasha and his branch of the family make me think of a sitcom? 😂 Inuyasha: dumb husband Kagome: wife with a brain but has a temper Moroha: oblivious to parent’s dynamics and just rolls with it.
Compared to inuyashas intro to the series to now, it sounds like the voice actor has been practicing a little too sound like he did way back when. There were a few lines in season 1 that just felt wrong, here it was very nostalgic

В Манге киринмару спросил "ты помог им" сэссемару ответил:"помогать с чего мне им помогать я все равно собираюсть убить своего брата:я помог тебе" вот что он говорил в манге он все тот же сэссемару у которого инуяша все был занозой в заднице
the one tiny thing the english dub misses out on is that little startled moment he has in japanese when he reacts to/realizes moroha called him 'dad' but is too far into explaining his idea to realize it/react more. or maybe thats me projecting lol.
@@Rhaivanna996 I’m just such a sucker for the “they all have kids now and this show will let you see them love the crap out of their kids” thing. It’s so cliche, but who doesn’t dream of a happy ending like that? I just can’t enjoy this show because one specific thing just makes me so uncomfortable.

As for Goz and Mez that Inuyasha references in this episode its a DBZ Reference to the 2 HFIL Ogre's Goku runs across when he fails off of Snake Way to reach King Kai's planet the original DUB of DBZ that scene isn't in the KAI version of Dragon Ball Z at all.
Gozu and Mezu are the guardians of hell in Japanese and Chinese mythology. They are the ones that a person first meets in the afterlife, like guides. In the Journey To The West, which Dragon Ball drew inspiration from, Son Goku/Wukong fought them in hell which I believe is where DBZ got it from.
Gozu and Mezu being referenced was a callback to the original manga/anime. After Inuyasha and company learn that there's a Shikon Jewel Shard at the border between this world and the next, they attempt to reach it. When they find the gate, it's guarded by giant stone guardians called Gozu and Mezu. When Inuyasha declares his plans to them, they fight Inuyasha, since only the dead are allowed to pass. Long story short, Inuyasha realizes he has to find an alternative method to get there. Later, Sesshomaru meets Gozu and Mezu. Due to the power of the Tenseiga, Gozu and Mezu allow Sesshomaru to pass without issue.
That too however DBZ first game out in Japan way before Inuyasha did but get Gozu/Mezu are based on the Journey to the West which in turn is what the Original Dragon Ball was based on.
Personally I enjoy this show but I think the reason why people may dislike this show or im gonna use Boruto as well its not the same for people who grew up with Inuyasha and Naruto now they have these completely new spin offs if you will of their offspring and people are like it sucks..do they dull moments yes but overall aren't bad
Wrong. Hating boruto and yashahime falls into completely separate reasons. Boruto gets hate for no real reason beyond only wanting the old cast as the leads. Even though there's nothing wrong with the next gen that can't be said about the old crew. Yashahime suffers from a rushed and poorly made story.
@@buster3041 Boruto is just a knock off its ass too much filler and the characters are way too overpowered Naruto and the others had to work for their power these guys were basically just born with it also Yashahime got its problems but its not bad
@@buster3041 boruto gets hate for nerfing the old cast beyond reasonable amounts. I could understand some of the older members of the cast if naruto being needed, I mean, there getting old. But naruto's classmates? That just doesn't make sense. They're most likely only barely over 30. 30 approximately is when humans tend to be in peak physical condition. And all the filler. It's just too much. Idk if there a plot under all of that filler, I watched 50 episodes (hoping it would improve and get back up to what naruto and naruto shippuden were like even at their worst) before dropping it and could barely find anything outside of vague hints. Yashahime, at least, has a storyline, and has interesting characters, and has good reasons why the previous cast aren't playing as major roles (busy plotting in the background or stuck in a different dimension, or hermit training, or raising 3 kids whilst running a shop). It's just not helped by it all feeling rushed.
Kagome doesn't age but Inuyasha ages 1 year ever 10 years since he a half demon they should've changed his hair or gave him some armor or change his clothes

Someone should point out to Inuyasha that Towa and Setuna ARE Sesshomaru's daughters, so of course he would give it to Towa to save Setsuna. He may not show it, but he does care about them
To be fair, he's Sesshomaru's brother. Sesshomaru's brother who has survived multiple attempts on Sesshomaru's brother's life at the hands of Sesshomaru's brother's brother. Broootheeeeeeeer.
I don’t care for the English versions of most anime, so I’m biased. They admittedly did a better job this time around with the script and acting, but I still don’t care for it compared to the Japanese. That’s my opinion though.

I see it on Tubi but they will not allow me to watch it in English I'm sure the government is behind this. I can only watch it in Japanese or Spanish. No I cannot go to audio and change the language for these two they have two separate movies I had to click on which language I want an not go to the audio and change the language I'm sure the government is behind this too. 03-02-24
Tbh I’m not interested in the next gen characters (Moroha, Towa and Setsuna) The anime’s been kinda boring so far and I’ve only watched a couple of episodes. The only good thing about the series is seeing all the “original” Inuyasha characters again, that was nice 👍🏻
