Complicated and very interesting champion. I can see really fun plays happening with this one. A yi that actually requires skill. I'm excited to see some more gameplay.

You know, I often times find that the champion spotlight intentionally makes the champion seem overpowered, and I haven't played him myself, but---he seems overpowered. Not because he doesn't use mana and has extremely low cooldowns, but because he has an extremely unique synergy with other champions that will be exploited. His ult is clearly designed to capitalize on his "assassin" aspect, but quickly becomes overpowered with a decent synergy for the simple fact that it adds massive crowd control. It's like you ruined AP Yi ti give birth to this monster. :P Not saying I won't enjoy learning/playing him but dayum!

Im not a Yasuo player but I have lot of respect for good Yasuos because it takes a lot of skill to do all the dashes and combos and their ability to think on their feet. If you say Yasuo takes no skill you are just ignorant.

Is it just me, or is this an unprecedented amount of complexity in a single champion? Compared to his predecessors, the creativity of his kit seems convoluted. Even if I didn't intend to pick him up (so it could be argued that if it's too complicated, just don't play him), as a support main I need to know how to synergize with my teammates and how to play against my enemies. Learning him feels daunting. I just hope this isn't going to kick off an ongoing design direction when we already have power creep on much less complex elder champions. I enjoy the relative simplicity of kits in this game allowing for more outplay and less out-know.

Like for real, although there are many toxic Yasuo players, and feeders, but I have to admit that the design and mechanics are fantastic and cool (which may be a reason why some players can't play him to his full potential, resulting in a bunch of death and feeding). Toxic players may be the ones who thought they mastered this insanely high skill-capped champ and thus developed a kind of ego, but were instead outplayed by another player. Probably their ego reforged reality and made them believe that either the opponent is hacking, ot it's purely teammate's fault for not helping. They probably don't want to admit that they haven't yet mastered this champ. I would very much like to play Yasuo and show-off like a pro, but sadly, the reality is that my reflexes cannot keep up with Yasuo's mobilities and I can't improvise plans to keep myself alive in teamfights... Yeah, I sucked playing Yasuo despite I like his kit and concept. I'm stuck with playing my boi Vel'Koz for now I guess, gotta test Yasuo out when Wild Rift arrives :D

To all of those saying this guy is op, he is actually pretty balanced. The short cooldowns on his abilities are necessary since he is apparently a lot more squishy than most other melee champions. If his passive did not double his crit, he would do absolutely no damage since he wouldn't have room for many damage items. The wind barrier is probably one of the highest skill cap skills in the game currently. Saying that it will be learned within one week is absurd and ridiculous, since even the pros will take longer than that to learn it. All in all, he is pretty balanced and counter-able.

Phreak said "tons of damage" and a Teemo died, so I'm already sold. Where do I insert the money?

He does a better job at being Fiora then Fiora does.

This champ will be a bit like zed, elise an jayce. If you can use them right and time the spells, you will be unkillable. If your a noob, you'll feed more than a first time heimer.

I'm a hard 'Try before I judge' type of guy (instead of the annoying auto "OP" comments). A couple things I'm seeing. 1. While yes his passive does seem a bit OP, if you buy straight up crit chance items, you must be REALLY good at evasive maneuvers other wise those crits ain't gonna mean shit late game. 2. The low cooldown is pretty neat 3. The wall I feel MAY have a long cooldown than the others. So a smart player may want to wait until someone's about to pop an ult on them, also its only whatever's infront of the shield. All in all, not an OP champ. He seems to take a lot more skill to play as well as to get combo timing down as well as finding a balance between crit, movement and health. There's a difference between OP champs with no skill like Yi, and high powered but high skill cap champs like Yasuo.
