Well believe it or not looked at Firenze fire form to see if he had done it before and he was bitten himself in 2018 50 yards from the winning line so don’t no if that had anything to do with it maybe he remembered and got scared

The stewards later said that it would not have been an automatic DQ, but they would have looked at it.

I don't think he would have been disquallify it's wasn't the jockey cause the obstruction the horse do it off his own merits

I did bet on Yaupon to win, and I definitely consider myself lucky! By far the strangest racing luck I've ever had.

Firenze Fire himself was the victim of a similar incident in the Gallant Bob in 2018, though it appears the other horse was actually trying to bite Firenze Fire's jockey
