Pretty lame interview but great job on the mind reading. It was really impressive how you answered the questions that you didn’t ask Sheriff Rhodes. Also why didn’t you ask for my side of the story instead of spreading lies about me. Maybe you won’t delete this comment!

What a bunch of feel-good, suck-up, softball questions. Why are you afraid to ask him about the controversies surrounding him and his office? Why not ask the Sheriff why the FBI came to his office? Why not ask about the conflict of interest with Spectrum and the Sheriff's Office? Why not interview some senior staff in the Sheriff's department and see what they think about working for Sheriff Rhodes? This isn't journalism, it's pandering.

Buzz - thank you for watching my show and sending in your comments. I'm not at all offended but I am going to shed some light on your misperceptions. 1. The FBI coming to the Sheriff's office had to deal with a major drug trafficking case successfully interdicted, and a couple of additional major cases. as well as on-going Intel. 2. My discussions with three long serving deputies reveals sincere respect and support for the Sheriff. Now there is a Lt who has accepted an offer by Eckenrod where upon if Eckenrod is elected Sheriff, this Lt will become Chief Deputy. This same Lt appears to be sending forward a variety of complaints and issues to bring division and doubt about Sheriff Rhodes in favor of Eckenrod. 3. Insofar as your charge of a conflict of interest with Spectrum and the Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's wife is the CEO of Spectrum Healthcare. She is paid a fixed salary set by the Spectrum Board of Directors. Spectrum has no contract with Yavapai County, and my checking shows the company never has had a contract with the county. Spectrum is a partner with Polara health and Az Complete Care Partners, which is the diversion provider for the Yavapai County Attorney. The contract, I learned, is unfunded, and the county has paid zero dollars to Complete Care Partners. Polara Health administers the contract, not Sprectum or the Sheriff's wife. His wife's salary is public through the IRS 990s and is not tax money. I trust this information will help you decide whether or not you will continue to tune in.
