About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first RU-vid channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

Its best to put the hen and the baby in another place for a few week so they can get food and water..when they are strong after a few week you can put them back to the flock

I just watched a video from 7 yr ago when you preformed with Jessica Sanchez and I’m in tears. Hay listen,,,, I just lost my dad he is some one I look up to some one that I highly respect some one that I would die for he had a heart attack two days ago I’ve been lost so lost and broken Mikey in a dark cloud but that video brought me back to life for now thank you for such a beautiful moving song done so beautiful

Congratulations on the new chicks. Such a cute addition to the flock. Re unhatched eggs, you can throw them. I knew long before that they will not be hatched because they never been seated by the hens. You even picked some eggs and put it on the nest but never been seated or warmed under the hens. The surroundings are getting beautiful. Summer is welcoming the blooms.

I agree - there is no “prime” of life; each season of life can be extraordinary. My father is currently 97, and is healthy in mind and body. Dad did not care for his body at all until age 60, when he started hiking 3 times a week and eating healthily (nothing extreme) - so it is never too late to start. In his retirement he has travelled all over the world, has been joyfully in love with (and outlived) two wonderful women (sequentially 🤣), and has always kept learning and experiencing new things. At age 80 he hiked down to the base of the Grand Canyon, stayed overnight in a hostel and then climbed back up to the rim. Life is what you make it. 🥰 Of course it never hurts to have really good genes. 🤣

Seeing that your chickens' eggs have started hatching, I'm starting to realize that I should start working on the enclosure of the Cornish Bantams that my friend will soon give to me as he already showed me the progress of the growth of the bantams that he had set aside for me haha. And yeah self-care is always necessary no matter how old a person is since it will always lead to good health and a better life since many people nowadays don't seem to set aside time for themselves to relax and unwind. I think one of the best ways of taking care of one's self is from what I mentioned as the positive affirmation of "It is important to have a productive hobby" as having that is also a form of self care that gives a person joy and that a hobby's productivity means that there are always rewards to be reaped out of it.

The self care era is the BEST!!!! I am right there with you in regards to drinking. It doesn't make me feel good after drinking so I just don't do it. I would rather wake up with energy, positivity and feeling great about the day ahead

I loved your new baby chicks, I have 12 hens and one rooster,and they’re free range in our yard here in Toledo, Oregon USA, they’re laying eggs everyday, mostly brown eggs, loved to see your baby chicks and the rest of the hens

Self-care definitely comes with age and experience. I wish I had the knowledge of healthy eating and physical activity when I was younger, but it's just part of growing up to make mistakes and learn from it. And by the way, eating dessert is good for your mental health. Lol, no jokes. I promise. 😂

You should wait till the Hens are around 15 months, then they might lay lesser eggs. Mostly in hobby you wait round 2,5 years. You will get a real good soup chicken. Best Taste you will get with 6 to 9 months.

Love to see you sooooo happy with the cute chicks. My! That's A LOT of eggs still need to be hatched. I was able to cook munggo last lunar new year holiday and I miss it now that I saw it here. The blue bee and yellow birds 😍 Nice to see Honey and wow we're going to have babies! RJ's birthday is a Saturday this year.

They get stringy when they are old. My best advice is to have two different types of chickens. One for laying and one for eating.

You should add some cctv/cameras inside the hens house to see what’s going on. That way you can check if there are any predators that might harm them.

Congratu-lay-tions on the new arrivals. Interesting chat about the prime of life - oh and inside your head age, am the same, mine doesn't match the outside at all. I have few mirrors, sometimes it is a shock to see how old I am :D Chicken names: I kept thinking Snowman/Yeti/Bigfoot - especially for those chicks, those hairy legs really egg-zagerate the size, however, with your talk of 'prime', am reminded of the title of a book/film that I don't really remember the details of - The Prime of Miss Jean Brody - kinda think I'd name a rooster, Brody. If I ever move to the Phillipines, the only place Inwouod want to work is for you on your farm! It looks like such an amazing and peaceful place and it's just beautiful! Love seeing all the animals and plants! You truly have created your own gorgeous slice of heaven there! Please take your female sugar glider to an animal vet (obviously you have to find one that can work on Marsupials) to find out if she's pregnant and to make sure it isn't anything else (that changes you notice) Just better to be safe and sure! That would be exciting though if she is pregnant! I would like to see more of your sugar gliders next time!! ❤

Suggestions...if you're gonna eat chicken you should probably get a roster for the ones you're gonna eat that way you're producing more. Doesn't make much sense to make more silkys if you're not gonna eat them. Just my opinion. Things are looking great the the farm house

Have you guys ever thought of having a pond? Seems like you have enough space. It’s where you can have catfish, mud fish and tilapia or any combination that can co exist on the same pond. Also you can float kangkong in the pond where fish can hide. Now you got veggies for your sinigang and food for your rabbit and iguanas. What do you think?

I think you need to fixed the nesting of chickens Mikey, used those elevated one put some ladders to guide them to those cages. Also, you need to separate the chicks and mom because the rooster or other hens will attack the chicks. Also to make chicks have time to matured. And lastly you need to reset the eggs and start taking notes what day they where laid and do egg candling. Chickens might acquired the behavior of eating their own eggs and that’s not good.

If you are going to have chicks hatching out you will have extra roosters. Hens can continue to lay to a fairly old age. I have a four year old hen that still regularly lays eggs for me. Extra roosters are great for sending to ‘freezer camp’.

Name the rooster Blue Bonnet for his blue eyes. It's relaxing to watch your animals and surrounding area of your farmhouse. I miss the Philippines, but I'm not ready yet to spend my retirement there due to traffic and heat. I will continue watching your daily vlogs and enjoy every development you make. Take care always. Yes, you really should candle the rest of the eggs and throw away the not fertile ones. You actually can use the lamp from your Iphone to candle them.
