Both were so good for different reasons! Secutor wins games, retiari a wins matches. One does great for me and one just removes options for the opposing player. Recommend use both!
Hey man next time if the quality is porta-potty level then I suggest just screenshotting a DB list picture and then talking over it, way less of a problem.
Thank you for your support! I couldn’t have imagined all 4 pieces of my recording equipment failing at once! Recording online causes my computer to do the same thing now too as it’s so old. Sometime this year I plan to get a proper computer that can handle recording and uploading so stay tuned for more GB content!
Not a fan. I’ve tried Icarus attack in several ways to include that build, crow in main, gale in main. It’s not a card that would want and I build I personally wouldn’t play. Your monsters should depend on your back rows, not your back rows depending on your monsters. GB are just weak normals that need the support. Icarus can force you into very odd game states in order to set it off. I think a tiger less build is fine. I just wouldn’t use Icarus.
No no, all good! Every camera I had flipped bad on my as soon as I went to make this. So thank you for patiently accepting the low quality hahaha. I always go first when possible. I did end up going second in every single top 8 match I had, unfortunately. I did not talk about siding because my side deck was just not matching the meta that I thought would show up. My deck has already changed since this event. But that’s secret 🤫
@@ma.2099 Okay fair enough. I guess if I could ask what are cards you don't mind siding out in the main deck you used? I know it varies based on matchup, but in general what are your go-to cards you always see yourself taking out? Like for the monster lineup is it every okay to trim down on any of those? Or is it mostly just spell/traps changing? Does sangan/spirit reaper stay in when you know you'll be going 2nd? Also thanks for the response, I appreciate your feedback. I'm picking up glads now so to see you top a big event with a deck every one is usually giving flack makes me feel better about my choice.
@@erkamyilmaz8938 depends. For example in vayu I sided out all three books. If I side in a hop, a reti is typically going out. The crows I used three in case of some turbo deck. Never faced turbo anything but I did side in 2 crows in several match ups where miracle is a powerful card. Or vayu. In an oppression Maych up I would side out a test tiger, a secutor, and a call of the haunted. If I’m going second I side out dust shoot.
Volume could be a little low for sure as I didn’t raise it on my OBS. I don’t want my whole videos ever, but for the like 1-2 minutes, max volume sounds fine for me.
Dude the glads won last year piloted by Sean McCabe congratulations for the top but you are not the guy that took gladiator were they never gone before, I top with them regularly and the last YCS GDL I won some side events, again congrats but the good players know that gladiator is a good tier 2 in Edison just the netdeckers think isn't good

@@ricardomora4531 if you can send me a link to a large event (usually expected at 100 or more players) in Edison format. I would enjoy reading that. I’m also speaking of Time Wizard Edison. The game in 2024 is very different than maybe when he won or it was an entirely different format.
@@ma.2099 but is better that people don't know that is a good deck, that makes that we won easier, maybe aren't big events but I won some pretty play mats thanks to glads at YCS in Mexico back in april.
It's my favorite format because gladiators are my favorite deck. But then, somehow, dark armed dragon returned. Well, he didn't return (from the different dimensio), he (emergency) teleported but. You know I'm going to stop.

@@JmagsHero I have a GoPro black 12 edition. The most recent. GoPro apps decided they do not want to open and turns out it’s a Perennial problem with their products. As I might upload once a month. More in frequently than that tbh and have no interest in pushing Edison RU-vidr much further than what I do right now, just gotta go with the old built in camera of my 2017 surface pro!
