Having a "Pokerface" in Yu-Gi-Oh can be important. Some players are trying to read your body language and analyze, if you have a good hand or not. So being emotionless is good in some situations!

It still is, orcust really isn't that good of a match up against a backrow heavy SS not to mention with that luck if by some chance he came up against something like TD it most likely would be a different story

@@Orfeh9999 TD have Mistake on legs, True Draco have plasma that can be used as resource and even more floodgates in their favor. why both of those didn't win then? he has lesser cahnce to ger his floodgates than both of them. why do you think he run traptrix? because his powerhouse is normal trap.

@@absentmindedshirokuma8539 Being a monster is the biggest disadvantage of colossus, since everyone mains mind control and impermanence, also Orcust don't mind being under mistake. TD just have less consistency than SS, you are right on the last part tho, I'm just saying that if he is in the finals is probably because his deck works

@@Orfeh9999 average competent TD player end with 2 collosus, you think why he main deck lost wind and compulsory while side deck get out even as far as using trap trick engine? because he know TD is his bad match up also both traps works on Orcust as well, while already has good match up against orcust. he win because he chose a perfect deck to most popular deck orcust while amazing tech option agains his weakest match up TD, and at the same time no one expecting sky striker.

Deck might have a shot in this format once someone figures out a good build but everyone knows the deck won't do anything once there is a meta established

They know they don't have anything to stop it so why waste your time. I don't really like the new format of yugioh though. Everything going into your first or second turn and then not really having to do after that. Makes it way less fun than it used to be 😑

We're also getting a new mecha in the future... if the artwork of Scissors Cross is to be believed.

@@Minodrec I think he was talking about the fact that the kid walks without swinging his arms, doesn't say much when asked a question. A lot of yugioh kids are terrible at social skills. It's not implausible. Just what it is .

Where exactly is the "skill" in getting the best draw possible off of engage? Josh drew complete rubbish and his opponent gets a god hand. Yea must be skill

Given how lucky the skystriker player was we can't conclude much on this match. He didn't even had to show any skill. That's lame because skystriker is usually hard to pilot. I'm sure he had much more interessting game previously during this YCS.

I wanted to watch them side their cards in and out too. The Sky Striker guy looked like he was in deep thought about which cards to take out and then they just switch to the commentators.

since shark cannon is a quick effect he ctivated it and banished ash blossom, making a total of 2 activations, so he could set not 1 but 2 cards with multirole

He chained it and used it when he plucked it allowing him to then set it from multirole

yes, because the ONLY reason he won the match is because of 1 thing that happened in a single round. Striker is still good
