They get crushed now. Victor can't see footsteps and barely sees bloodpools and Charlotte just has a hard time catching ppl. IDK why. Pig catches people easy but Charlotte struggles.

Yep, this happened in a PTB and many Twins mains begged the devs to keep the "bug" in. It was patched out, sadly.

@@nanaten3she still has the same pressure from them. It just makes it less likely you’re going to get a head pop. The survivors still have to spend the time doing the traps regardless. It’s supposed to be like onryo where her weaker chase power is supplemented by slowdown.

Yeah that’s also my problem there’s no gens in the back part all the gens are on one side and then there’s one in the movie theater. I just feel like they need to break it up more make the movie theater in the middle put some gens on the other side.

Doesn’t look that big. And plus thats really only a big issue for killers that rely on small maps like legion.

It is quite large. The thing with it is how LONG it is. It’s not too wide at any point, but when you look at the run time from the far side of the park statue past the shack and past the movie theatre, it takes its time.

The bear traps were always secondary to me anyway always playing the pig as main for several years, sight and sound is enough for any killer, these nerfs did nothing for the likes of those players who strive to win on natural senses, now I'm buffed for crouching and jumping people and the traps will continue to be used how they always have, being more opportunities for me to stalk and jump them, they sure are loud using a box, win win win

I feel like they need to make it harder to get the traps off. Making gen perks apply to the boxes as well as making the timer go faster if you either fail a skill check or check the wrong box would help with that cause ive rarely seen someone actually get affected by the beartraps and in their current state they really just exist to make the Survivors not just go gen rush. If you can get something like Unnerving Presence where it makes the skill checks harder to hit or Overcharge and instead of regressing a gen it progressed your timer more than usual. I dont mind them making the timer itself longer as long as they add ways to actually make things harder for the survivor outside of just adding a 3 minute timer to get it off, which with how few traps she had, basically means she can only trap everyone once and once shes out shes just a standard M1 killer with a lunge attack

@@empdisaster10 not to mention they aren’t even very effective at gen slowdown, by the time you catch up to the second person the first one already has their trap off, freeing them to go back to gen rushing, you’re either really lucky or have some really shitty survivors if you somehow manage to get more than two traps active at once, it’s just too much of a nerf to warrant the changes, the buff part should have happened ages ago regardless.

She still moves slower in crouch than nurse does at max speed so you're not gonna benefit from it as the game is basically tag. And now she can't see her OWN power which she definitely did in the movies. Now we have to chase all 4 survivors down 3 times a piece or hook camp. I can read just fine, the pig got a CLEAR decrease in ability. They nerfed her because of me. I'd make survs play the game and never let them take the traps off. This means I'd mostly only catch 1 or 2 but it guaranteed a mori kill. Pigs my favorite for this reason. I do this everyday on the game. Huge difference not being able to see your traps. That's literally her power, the crouching is a subset of her ability to mori survs who have an active trap on. I knew they were gonna nerf it. I hate the devs. Don't worry bro, I'm just gonna hook camp to make sure they don't remove the trap

Right. How you gone nerf the slowdown and then give her a better ambush like as if it’s still more effective to bait an ambush. Ambush literally makes you sit still you can’t move like Chucky. And surprisingly Chucky moves slower than pig ambush but all that don’t matter when pig can’t move charging during ambush. People just get adjusted to it. Once they figure how to counter her she’ll have the same win rate if not worse.

They could’ve given her an add-on that allows her to break pallets.

Or even gave her basekit break pallets.

Your part of the reason why we barely get anything with pig other than nerfs. The traps are meant to be used for slowdown and rarely killing(it's just not fun on the survivor side to die by it if they are overly oppressive). I'm glad they are hindering you from this boring ass cheesy play style. A new player isn't gonna play again when they run into games like this so it's really unhealthy for the game

@@xCallxMExJJx I don’t think anything you said makes sense. Did you watch this video? There was a ton of value with the ambush attack, even in the middle of chases. And like this guy said ^, the traps are meant for slow down and shouldn’t happen super often. There’s no reason Pig needs to see the trap boxes just so she can camp and not let people get the traps off

⁠​​⁠​​⁠ ​​⁠​⁠​⁠​​You can get a ton of values just for patrolling the boxes while mainly patrolling the gens, not only hinders the trapped survivors from doing gen or just eliminate them. With all that said, it basically a huge nerf on the value you can get from trap. I honestly don’t see that the buff affects the ability of ambush attack in chase significantly. Also, the buff and the nerf doesn’t seem to balance out, it’s more a nerf overall by value. But kill rate and time tells everything.

You mean killers don't already fo that. 10 of my last 12 matches, killers slugged so the hatch didn't spawn for the last surv. I started reporting killers over it as it usurps a game mechanic.

to be honest, there’s only one bad, exit gate, spawn for killer, and that’s when they spawn on opposite sides but most of the time when I played the PTB, they both spawned on the same side

Pig got nerfed not buffed. Without the traps she has to LITERALLY chase everyone down 🤮🤮 you still move slower than nurse in a crouch so literally they only took something away from her. Playing the "game" and catching them at boxes was my favorite thing to do on this game. Pig main here. I'm just gonna tunnel literally EVERY time and hook camp since I don't know where my boxes are yet knight can see the location of survivors at basically all times and trapper can see his traps.

Also, trapper and knight arguments don't work here. Knight can't see survs at all times so I'm not sure where you got that from and trapper can see his traps because they're his ONLY ability. He can move them and he can get stuck in them. Pig can't do that. You're mad over nothing lmao

Tunnelling only works on inexperienced survivors, good survivors who know the maps will give you a tough time so you'll lose on objective while you tunnel 1 person out. Then what? Lmao. @@Timothee_Chalamet_CMBYN Yes but it basically means that if the killers pick the wrong door or the survivors see where the killer is going they basically get out without worrying about the killer reaching them in time. its not about being able to "3 gen doors" but about making it more detailed than a coin flip and keeping the killer actually able to stop the survivors from leaving if they're good since as it stands a large portion of the killer roster just becomes a non issue once the doors are powered

Pig requires a certain amount of intellect to play effectively, the right use of add ons and perks is important to succeeding as pig, the update makes her chase aspects better which is very good for her, and her bear trap timer can still be effective with the right use of add ons

I mean it's absolutely intended this way. Devs didn't want the game the pig to be focused on chasing trapped survivors or hunting only them. This way you NEED to prioritize other survivors. Besides head traps aren't meant for kills necessarily. They are meant for slowdown

​@@tfcbioshockand you still can chase survivor with RBT and he can do nothing about. But if you play fair, you just lose pressure, because traps not longer dangerous. In normal game you GONNA drop everything and search boxes - now you can heal up, work on on gen and still have plenty of time to remove your party hat. In normal game you nervous about Pig is coming for you at the box - now she can find you only by accident. I hope this changes not going to live.

If you actually play pig to get head pops then no wonder you complain. Your not SUPPOSED to get kills from traps 98% of the time. It's meant to slow the game down.
