Oh my! I am SO excited to find you on RU-vid as a Protestant turned Catholic, Minimalist Homeschooling mom too (lol) - and I'm new to this homeschooling stuff. I have been PRAYING for finding good materials for my preschooler to teach our faith coming from the heart of it. Thank you so much for this! Please keep the videos coming when possible!

They are Filana crayons and I think they're having some stocking issues on amazon. Check waldorf supply shops online. Just search Filana Crayons or Waldorf homeschool supplies

This is lovely .. I’m wondering aside from the obvious differences in doctrine, how would you say your new curriculum is different than lamp and light ? What are some things you feel you improved on or changed that didnt work ?

Great questions!!! The biggest difference is doctrine for sure. After that the only other thing that's really different is I don't order the books from crooked companies in China and have them printed on demand that immediately ship directly to the customer. Not cheaper but definitely A LOT LESS STRESSFUL for this mama of almost 6 lol.

What you talk about in reference to the overarching story of the Bible? Yeah. That's a huge reason why I converted from protestant to catholic. I too participated in countless denominations. Now I've been catholic for longer than any of the denominations.

That's beautiful! When I was taught the threads that connect perfectly the Old Testament to the New Testament, I got chills. The Catholic faith really is the FULLNESS of Faith. I never understood what that meant until last year. It's like having all of the missing puzzle pieces AND the puzzle box cover.

How do you not buy them? I can’t find many catholic books in the library.

churches/parishes! This is where I finally found catholic books when I was learning about the faith when I was protestant. Had a hard time finding Catholic books at our library. But I also requested them and they would get them sometimes as well.
