For me 2007 was the peak of the ruthless aggression era the best year of John Cena With the best wrestle mania from the ruthless aggression era.The rivalry of Cena and Shawn also Taker and Batista.Somehow everything was great for one last time.I don't like the fact that wwe start making high rating product only when they are in trouble of surviving.This is the case with the attitude era if it wasn't for wcw maybe we would not relive the attitude era?

2009 was the year for Jeff Hardy he was the most popular superstar loved by everybody, out selling cena at merch at that time and he was main eventing all the PPV until he left of WWE the mid of it.

The 2000’s began with the year 2000 being WWE’s best year ever, and ended with 2009 being WWE’s worst year ever! Now that the 2000’s are all over, up next are WWE in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022!

The WWE's most popular years were actually in the 80s. The Main Event (1988) still holds the record of a 15.2 Nielsen rating (33 million viewers).

@BlueCheeseCross95 Well it was around those years 2008 and 2009 where Edge was winning the world title quite a lot and well he always lost it and then gained it back a month or so later. I get it that it worked for his gimmick as the ultimate opportunist, but still his longest reign as a champion is just over 100 days which is less than 4 months but honestly going back and watching it kind of feels like he never really dropped the belt at all.

Had a lot of downtime that summer since I was recovering from serious leg surgery at the time missed most of first semester in 7th grade because of in and out of physical therapy in Oklahoma city one of the things that got me through that year was wwe around this time and Michael Jackson music working with the team in Oklahoma city 😊😊

2009 was a mixed bag for me. I felt it was one of the worst years for the Company because the booking and most of the storylines were so bad but I revisited it and this year wasn’t as bad as I thought but it’s still not good. SmackDown was pretty good that year but Raw went downhill after the Guess Host thing. The DX run from 2009 is terrible and though the Cena/Orton feud is legendary, they dragged it way too long that year and fans started to turn on it. Super Cena and The PG Era was starting to become more frequent. I will say that the PPV quality was really consistent that year. 2009 is hated a lot by fans but trust me 2010 is even worse.

I prefer the first 6 months of 2009. It was still so enjoyable and my guy Jeff Hardy was still around. I didn’t really like the second half with the guest hosts hosting Raw every week. They started losing me once it got to October ‘09. I just started watching more of TNA after.

This year I was enjoying smackdown way more than Raw. Smackdown had newer talent and newer main eventers with Rey and Jericho having arguably the best matches that year. New Age Jericho gimmick was underrated. Smackdown won this year in my opinion.

Feud with Jeff Hardy and CM punk carried 2009 for smackdown that summer DX vs legacy triple h vs Randy Orton going into werstlemania that year hbk vs undertaker bulid up amazing made recoving from surgery and missing most of first semester of 7th grade a little better watched it a lot with my dad while in the hospital while he made non stop quick trip stops 😂😂 got to eat anything I wanted while sitting on my couch with legs in recovery couldn't move for 6 weeks

I started watching in 2010. But I look back and see that not much really changed from 2009 and 2010. But dang Randy was just a different breed of menace
