When we were a young family, a wonderful refugee family asked us to co-sign on a loan for a car, but we had just read in the Bible not to. We had extended ourselves for them in many ways to help them, but this we could not do. The day after he bought it, he totaled it and did not have insurance! So, there is much wisdom in the Bible, i found. And when i failed to follow it, i got into serious trouble!
If you area Christian and a Jew, do you have to follow these laws and feasts? I thought the New Testament said it was a choice. I get the principles of life and community...and intermarriage between believers and non, which maybe is the cloth principle, not sure, but wondering about the mixing of cloth components for Israelites.
I can't understand why Tim always tiptoes around and avoids addressing homosexuality and cross dressing. He should have addressed the obvious reference in the text because its God's word and not his own.
Thank you Tim. I am deeply grateful for and impressed by your work. Like Jesus said about a good teacher, you "make new with with the old". With my deep respect and a sincere heart, although I definitely keep finding lots of spiritual gems in your many presentations, my only interrogation is about your sticking to the Trinity doctrine, that is considering our Lord Jesus as Yahweh in a human form. Isn't the Trinity a late acceptance by the Church of pagan influences and beliefs, as embraced by the ancient Egyptians, Babylonians or Greeks? If our Lord Jesus is God, then : Whom would Jesus pray to when on earth? Who resurrected God if he actually died? Why this father-son relationship described in the Bible if they are co-equal? Why does Jesus mention his Father's will, comparing it to his own (Jesus') will? Why does Paul say that Jesus is the first-born of all creation, or that Jesus never contemplated "a seizure" or "a snatching" of God's position? Why is Paul saying that "the chief of the Christ is God"? I believe Yahweh is the only true God, and that our Lord Jesus, Yahweh's very first creation, had a prehuman existence. My fear is that, by worshipping Jesus, one could actually fall into a subtle form of idolatry, that is worshipping the creation, rather than the Creator. This topic was recently bought up for debate a few weeks ago in my church between members. I was a little shocked as I only then found out that most people ( christians) believe that JAHSHUA is JAHWEH. This was very new to me? I am of the same belief and understanding as you just so well explained it. Nor many people agree with my view. But as I prayed for days I heard JAHS voice saying what does your Bible say? And that is what I read all through the Bible. How can JAH be JAHSHUA, to me it doesn’t make sense. Like you I am concerned That people are worshipping JAHSHUA and forgetting JAH the one who created all things so that we can be SAVED. I will keep praying That more eyes are opened and people have clarity and worship the one and only creator our father JAHWEH and pray and love our brother JAHSHUA who died for our sins. This is why I. Eli eve it is written that if time was not shortened even the elect would be deceived. Love you all and keep praying and fasting for wisdom and understanding. AMEIN
@@yelenaprimavera2720 watch the Bible Project’s video on God. It will clear up for you why the doctrine of the trinity comes directly from the Bible itself.
Hi Tim, I know it's been a minute since you published this video, but I highly disagree with your interpretation of American core values. God bless and I hope you are well.
14:00 it’s hard isn’t it? To wrap your head around these passages. The Old Covenant god of law & curse, plagues, wrath, sickness, sin & death, destruction, violence, temptations, punishments, trials & tribulations is not the character of Yeshua. We must learn about dominion, authority, rulership, godship over mankind. People fail to realize that after the sin of Adam & Eve, Satan became the god of this world and he was ruling & reigning throughout all the Old Testament times. We need to face the evil deeds done by “God” and not avoid them, and resolve them. We need to be bold to “call evil evil” and quit agreeing with common theology which justifies the evil deeds of “God” and calls them good. Woes come upon those who “call evil good.”
Let us keep respectful of the man. Although I don't agree with him on the nature and position of our Lord Jesus Christ compared to God, Tim's work is a monument, worthy of esteem.
@@mathieuvanleeuwen7127 Like many Christian qualities, humility is a multifaceted quality. One can be humble in some aspects of their life, but proud when it comes to dealing with other aspects of the Christian life. The apostle Peter for example was humble enough to leave his nets and follow Jesus, humble enough to accept to be reproved by Jesus many times, but he proved proud when assuming that he would be faithful to Jesus when all the other apostles would prove unfaithful. So you may be more humble than you think Mathieu : )
