Amazing how much Chicago's given to music. In 40 or 50 years people'll look back on Chicago's hiphop influence like this. From Twista to Kanye, Lupe and now the huge group around SAVEMONEY and SoEx, there's again something really special going on in the Midwest.

PBBB didn't have to kickstart the acid rock movement on the west coast. There was plenty "acid rock" albums that had already been released before Paul Butterfield Blues Band's album (which can hardly can be considered acid rock). Love's self titled LP, Mothers of Invention Freak Out!, and The Byrds Fifth Dimension had all come out already in 1966 and are all waaay more suitably classified as acid rock.
