I have one for a few weeks now. The external monitor is a great feature and after installing the newest firmware update the image quality is superb! The DNR is impressively improved and the usb port now supports a mouse, even wireless. This is a very good transceiver! Thank you for an informative video.

Yes, always get the best if you can afford it and avoid buyers regret. $400 is better than deciding to upgrade later when the price may have gone up, the extra goodies are nice to have or may be the difference between the contact or not. Also the increased aesthetics will increase the pleasure of your operation.
