👏🏻 I watched the live FIDO chess champs between Nepo and Ding. I didn't realise until afterwards why this game is so good!.. Opening moments of these long matches.. Having long sighted vision, seeing many moves in advance and taking your time.. Knowing your opponents moves! Closing end moments.. More short sighted vision and having to be sometimes quicker, but accurate all the same. Although it's accessible to everyone.. the online players have nothing on what it takes to play well over the board. I'm happy to call this a sport after learning what it's about. Congrats on your win.
