Hope this description stays. Lately, they’ve been disappearing.
I saw that Hannah was playing at this festival, so I figured it’d be a new experience as I had not yet been. Young Romantics played this last year, and I did not go. So, I figured I’d give it a shot.
Nothing crazy happened prior to their performance- the festival was set up in a park, tickets were at the gate, and they had some food trucks.
The band that went on before YC gave God a lot of unnecessary flack, which sorta made me want to leave altogether, ngl, but I stuck through it.
Once Hannah and her band gathered on the stage, everyone kind of made their way over. It was clearly going to be the closing act for a reason.
I set my phone under the sound tent, and was pretty sure I had it aimed towards the monitors, but it came out a little rough. Thankfully, my good friend came through with some mastering that makes it far more presentable than anything I could muster.
I did not hear LA Ice, (which with The Beginning & The End tacked on) are my favorites, but I did hear some other classic Yellow Cellophane tunes.
I have to say, the men on acoustic and keys, and EG have it going on well.
Hoping to catch them in a smaller venue where I can move around a bit more for better representation, accessibility, and not such shaky frames.

Again, and foremost, a perpetual thank you to my friend, Griffin Fletcher, of Young Romantics, for mastering this audio and helping out with details on it.
