I’m going to call it here and now, I think the Antler Queen is Tai’s wilderness alter. I think Tai goes away and lets her wilderness self take control.

Hot Take: they’re all the “antler queen.” As in, they all share the head dress. It’s only worn by those who bring something to the table… something of value. If anyone fails to make the cut? They’re sacrificed in the ritual hunt.

I thought from the beginning that Adam was Javi and was surprised that didn't turn out to be the case. He seemed to bond with Shauna in the wilderness and got to see her darker side. I was sad about what happened to him. It would be even more sad if he was Javi .

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember reading that the show is going to last something like 4 seasons, and we're not going to get all of the answers until the end. If that's the case, I wouldn't get your hopes up for Season 2. I mean, it should be great, but it'll probably leave us with more questions than answers.

in some interviews they said they had 5 seasons mapped out. but i just watched a more recent interview and they said they don't really wanna think about how long exactly it'll go for. that being said, they def are not going to answer some mysteries for a while and honestly, some they will probably never direct answer like the supernatural vs trauma aspect.

Yeah I didn’t know what to expect going into it… But I definitely thought we got a whole story of what happened to them out there. Kinda love that we don’t though so they don’t have to make future seasons about something else that’s not as good.

I've read several reports that the showrunners have a 5-season arc planned, but who knows, maybe they'll pull a Succession and stop after 4.

@@doublefeature It definitely could have been 5. I'm just going off of my memory, which isn't that great. LOL I feel like we're still in limbo as to whether or not the supernatural is real, but it's leaning that way. That's how the show "Servant" worked, especially in the beginning. Every week kept you guessing what was "magic" and what could be explained away with logic. I honestly don't mind it being left ambiguous, because that's how life works. Some people believe in miracles while others just believe in coincidences. I'm, personally, a skeptic, so I think there's an answer to everything, even if we don't know it. But this is a fictional show, so obviously that doesn't apply here.

Even though im thoroughly enjoying the show some of the medical bits are driving me nuts 😂 Shauna having seemingly no problems with her pregnancy, after an attempted (and canceled) abortion, a night of shrooms and not to mention the basic starvation 😂 Van being almost completely fine after almost being mauled also drove me nuts. Laura Lee mentions “you can’t deny Van needs serious medical attention” but then she’s fine. I’m sure there’s some sort of supernatural explanation and Im sooooo excited to see what this season brings tho ALSO WHERE IS JAVI 😭

I think pit girl is Mari. She's the only one with dark, longer hair and a fairer complexion. I thought it was Lottie, but we all know she's the antler queen. I think the trapper is Tai and we know the butcher is Shawna.

My theory as a Quebecer about the Antler Queen: the fact that Lottie speaks French when she's possessed is noteworthy. Although they might have cast Sophie Nélisse as young Shauna purely out of her great talent, her first language might have been a casting asset if the creators intended for the character to randomly speak French later on...

jackie is dead. the creators have confirmed it a bunch of times. they have also said they aren't the kind of creators that are going to lie about stuff like that, if they answer something definitively it's going to play out that way, they aren't trying to trick us.

@@jordansilberman728 i love me some robin tunney, and i think it's a decent match up. they both have round face and big eyes. only difference is eye color but we already know Sophie N. and Tawny wear contacts to match their counter parts. i've also heard mila kunis, olivia wilde, rebecca gayhart(young her looks so much like ella) and marion collitard. which i also think are decent choices.

Even before season 2 episode 2, we knew they were cannibals. The pilot episode shows them stringing and draining her like a deer, then cutting, cooking and consuming the meat.
